Well if you have never been to an NHRA event, it's an experience you'll never forget.

Cole and I got there just in time for the final rounds and let me tell ya, it is awesome. The fuel cars will ignite your hair and send it blowing up straight up and your insides will rumble. The ground under your feet shakes and moves you down the standing room only fence rail. I swear, we moved down track at least two feet while watching the second round of eliminations. We stood at the 1000 foot line and the cars streaked by us like a flash. It was a thrill to see again after about twenty years.

Did you guys see Force's crash? Bet you weren't expecting to see a car get upside down.

Yah that was pretty incredible. All we could see though was a big huge cloud of dust. I watched it when we got back last night. Then I saw it again today on the NHRA web site. I thought at first when Kenny hit the cone that it flew into John's cat and caused it all but i don't think that today after watching. Looks like John's right rear blew out and the car just came apart right at the cockpit behind the engine. We saw alot of really nice suckers while there to. mmm mmm mmm What a view.

All the vibrating and shaking takes your breath away doesn't it LOL. Haven't experienced that sensation since 2000, but it is a one of a kind feeling that makes your skin crawl. Not from freaking out or anything, but being able to feel the horsepower those cars put out. One thing to see the power, but it's something else to feel it....Truly amazing! Just waiting for my boys to get older, so I can share the experience with them.

It's AMAZING the NHRA boys wings don't hold up either when they get on their head.

What gives. LOL

Yah David, I think I'm ready to go. I sure did have the urge to go to Ada last saturday to. We would'a been too tired though. Besides Jordan wasn't into it. You know how that goes. Gotta figure out something to remedy that girls mind. LOL Try to get it off of showing cows for a few moments so she can enjoy some real life in the fast lane.
