sorry in taking so much time to reply Bobcat, been thinkin and conferring bout it quite a bit the last couple days.
I have to very respectfully go with no. Any team can choose their level of involvement - the only thing I ask or hope for - is for each team to get on the thread at least once every week, maybe check out results/standings - but at least throw in some picks. A back up line would set a precedent that goes in the other direction of what I have spoken adamantly of - which is making picks every week. I think there are some positives to the back up line for sure. But I think it is best for all teams - and especially their opponents - if picks are made in weekly threads. If there were - say...... 5 or 6 people who put in a back-up line. Then their opponents may have to sift through past threads to know who they are up against. or I'd have to as you say - file it - and then people hit me up bout it. It just seems a much longer way around to get to the same place. A back up line takes some things away from the weekly threads....
As it is - the weekly threads/picks serve a good purpose, as has been evidenced since even last year - when we had over 30,000 views just between the fantasy threads. In the weekly threads everyone knows where to find everything - most importantly, their opponents picks. Now if we could only get all of those......
