Well so much for a honest suggestion from a friend to a friend. I dont claim to know all the details of any racing form and just thought it would be fun to kick it around and many responed well but some just so hateful ridulous and just insulting. Man this is a open forum and was just throwing a racing thought out there for others to ponder and think about and the insults are just incredible. Im off this forum as a real race fan with 60 + years of experience I do seek or need the insults when just trying to talk racing. Good Luck.
P.S. When your forum dies from idiots blame them.

I wouldn't take it so personal
People were putting down F1 racing, not you
I didn't see any personal attacks
If I offended you, I apologize

Why would any American now days want to leave all of his family and friends to go to europe and race F1? I bet Kyle only knows english and that would be one handicap. You would have to be wanting to socialize with filthy rich snobs. I do not think Kyle would want to do that. He is to smart. You and others would expect him to kick ass right out of the box, It does not happen that way. I know Mario did it, but he was an exception and in different times without all this down force BS. Back then Mario had to drive the car, not the car drives you. I think Mario could also speek Italion . Stay home Kyle, but I am sure this conversation is sort of humoras to him.

He picked the wrong career path years ago...He would only embarrass himself today in F1.

He should also run for president, and maybe Pope. Should probably try to get a good run at the Grove first though.

All F1 drivers speak English and in the case of the Ferrari F1 team, most English speaking drivers learn Italian out of respect to the brand and team.
Kyle is due here in New Zealand in a weeks time. We speak English in New Zealand and on meeting Kyle and his family last year, he and his family enjoy their time away from what they are use to. Kyle is also going to visit and race in Australia as well, a first for him and his family in terms of racing in Australia and visiting Australia. Its clear when you speak with him, he wants to enjoy and experience the world, and if that includes racing as well, something he enjoys doing, than so be it.

Why so insulting of those giving an opinion? (See what I did there?)
I think your question was valid. If that's what he wants, and he could somehow land there, good for him. Just not a lot of fans of F1 here---including me. Not a personal attack on you

That's a ridiculous statement. There are 7 billion people on earth. Do you honestly believe the top 20 driving talents in the entire world all drive Formula 1? There are literally thousands of undiscovered racing talents in the world. Don't confuse privilege with superior talent.

Why would a top F1 driver even care about racing for pennies on dirt? Lewis Hamilton made $57 million in 2019. Sebastian Vettel earned $45 million this year alone. Hamilton is estimnated to have earned $500 million in his career.

Its obviously not about $$$ for guys like Kyle who love racing on dirt. Why would he risk his life for $3000 on dirt when he races for millions in NASCAR?

He's referring to my earlier post questioning someone's ridiculous statement that no one has the talent to run the F1 cars like the F1 drivers do. Nothing to do with money. I might have the talent to drive an F1 car-----but, we'll never know as I've never had the chance to drive a race car, let alone an F1 car.
That said, how can anyone be so dumb (not you, the previous poster we were responding to) to think that someone who has won at every level of racing in their entire career, could not also have the talent to drive a $10 million car equipped with a room full of engineers? I think revjimk is right on---and, just to be clear, it's all hypothetical.
Would it be more likely that Kyle could go oversees and win an F1 race? Or more likely any F1 driver could come to the US and adapt to, and win in every single type of car he's won in? My opinion is that Kyle would have a better chance at winning in F1 than the latter. But, it's just an opinion----it doesn't mean those drivers don't have the ability either.
The thing is, we have NO idea how Kyle would do in an F1 car. None. So anyone making the ridiculous statement that he doesn't have the talent, is just talking out their ass. No one could tell me Christopher Bell, Kyle Busch, or Jeff Gordon in his prime couldn't win in F1. Thing is, we'll never know.

885.00 per 3 day pass. To watch the most boring racing bar none. Funny, really funny.
Kyle make your money, then in 5 yrs go do what you love. dirt racing, enough said.

I just thought I'd add one possibiltiy to this thread that I havent read yet and thats not money or racing on dirt, or sprint cars. I know KL and he loves racing period !!! I matter not what it is, hell he was great driving GTO class cars a couple years ago. Heres what I'd like to add is its not the form of racing but the racing itself. Its the man against machine and the worlds best in what ever form of racing he's competing in. When you whittle it all down its the Conquest. Would he like F1 ? Who knows, but when he wraps up his racing carreer I'm sure he'd enjoy knowing he beat the worlds best in their backyard . I guess we shall see but its been fun kicking it around. Thanks to all and Merry Christmas.
P.S. Yes I do know KL loves and favors sprint cars, personally from this guy who has watched him from a youngster come up and seen him drive the wheels off outlaw carts, midgets, sprints, non winged and winged I think he could be the best midget driver Ive ever seen and I saw all the greats in midget. Name them I saw them as a young man. Just a personal opinion. lets go RACING 2020 !!!!

Good points. It would be a challenge for Kyle
Lots of people on this thread insulting each other's favorite form of racing. Most of us, myself included, want to see him stay on dirt
But its not up to us, is it???
Merry Christmas! :)
