Thank You tmac. I just got a little confused and thought he was talking about the Jack from earlier in the season. What I said about Jack was about Jack Rose.
As far the the Brent Swift thing goes. I was going off of the line-ups the track prints for us. It always says Brandon and once it stuck, it has been a hard habit to break. I was told about it 3 weeks ago and have tried to correct it. I have caught myself a time or two still calling him Brandon but I am aware that it is Brent. I'll try to keep it straight on Sunday. Thank You.

Wrong John Brooks, there was a John Brooks at SFS years ago that was a tall bald man. He was almost always in the pits before the races getting "tidbits" to announce to the fans. I even remember him going to a crash scene to personally report on drivers conditions. I'm thinking he moved out to far western Okla. but not sure!
Like I said in my other post, I don't get to hear what is being said during the races when I'm there. So I have to say that is Brian is doing a good job or a bad job, it has to be better than Buckland!!!! So keep up the good work Brian, I'm sure it takes alot to keep up with everything going on!
I miss hearing Jack announce also, but times change & you have to accept what changes have been made. I still see Jack every so often & enjoy chatting with him.
Brian keep it up & don't let this worry you or get you down. At least You & Connie are giving it your best!!!

You do a terrific job announcing, and we enjoy when you visit the Lawton Speedway as well. You have a bright future ahead of you just like your brother.
Mr. Ass is just some old washed up man that has nothing better to do than belittle others. He must be really insecure and getting on this blog must make him feel better about himself. Thing is...it makes him seem pathetic!

First of all they don't call me "uncle A" for nothing. I seem to have the unchaining ability to piss people off. But the truth hurts, don't it.
You do have an exceptional voice over the P.A. (public address) system. But as you claim you know the Drivers, the Teams, and Sponsors is B.S. You have never ever mentioned anything but the Drivers names hastily, absolutely nothing mentioned about Sponsors. Unless of course it's the 12$ or the 21$.
Come on man, if you had any Balls you would step up, show up early with pen and paper in hand, meet and get to know the Drivers and Crew members so that when you are announcing you actually know what you are talking about.
Don't try to bullshit me kid.... I've been attending the races at Fairgrounds Speedway since the late 60's
You need to step-up and follow in Mr.Claxton's footsteps.
I see Connie riding around the pit area in her "limo golf cart" I have also noticed she only Stops at her favourites. Must have something to do with the officiating.

Uncle A... you ever been to Lawton??? If you have, then you should be well aware of what a bad announcer is.... Maybe at your age your confusing the Lawton announcer with the OK City one??? That reject don't know anything.... proven Saturday night when he had his mike on and had to call the officials to find out what feature the factory stocks were running.... He's been there from the start of the season you'd think he'd have it figured out by now....
On a more serious note.... That kid of his don't need to be out there in the infield..... Ding-dong if your reading this.... lay off the ice tea it seems to be affecting your common sense......

2bsprint71 is an iced tea freak! Come on man.......tell us...........how many track forums have you gotten on or phone calls made to promoters to tell them they need iced tea? lol. If iced tea made you lose common sense.......guys like JD or my old man would be mentally retarded. lol. I really hope jd does not take that the wrong way.lol. But now I know why JD likes the chaffuer so much.........he's losin his gosh-darned mind.

Ok everybody, enough about this topic I have publicly apologised to Brian, SFS announcer. See "uncle a eats crow" I have recently learned he, and Connie are dictated by time restraints. If you are having problems with your local announcer there may be more going on behind the scenes than you realise. I was a dumb-ass and totally spoke out of turn. Once agian, I apologise to Brian and, Connie for my previuos comments. They are both doing a good job.
