Did anyone have a Ford powered Nance sprint car in the late eighties or a wider than normal chassis?

I just talked to a friend who had a Nance frame made for a Ford engine. He said that there were more than 3 built and most went to CA. He thought that Dean Thompson and Bubby Jones drove them. They built in 1987 and the whole frame was made out of .120 tubing not just the cage. He said that they were less than 20 pounds heavier than the cars with a .120 cage and .095 main rails. He is going to go through his photos and get the serial number.
