Man I thought my mouth was gettin a lot better - hurting a lot less.........then I read this thread and its sore as hell again from laughing constant for the last 5 minutes.

JD - I've been trying to convince Justine that we should go to Lawton despite the awful heat, bugs, and prob dust...........I was making some good headway.............until she read this too. Needless to say, my campaign for a trip back to the originial naming and home of the "greasy fries" has hit an absolute wall lol. She became very adamant in her position.

Concessions need to be made JD.....if you promise to abandon the speedo.....maybe just upgrade to a Richard Simmon's outfit........I might be able to reconcile her into believing that much emotional and psychological trauma will not be part of the otherwise merry event (even though I will surely be lying lol).

Actually Lawton has not be dusty and the bugs were not near the problem this past week since they sprayed. Hope to see all you guys out there, it should be a good show.

IF my pondering thoughts do happen, I could be at Lawton on Saturday night with you guys.

JD, I read that. I do hope it isn't true but if so, there could be one hell of a champ sprint car count at Meeker and/or Lawton this Saturday night. They that ungratefull up there then they need to do without a race track like we are.

Now that there is report of Crickets , Bugs and What not , J.D. will forgo the Speedo and the BIG Randle Racing Sandals for more conventenal wear, maybe regular clothes and spare the mental and visual anguish to bsman63 , besides he is an OCRS official and he might bring BBQ.lol

CCC , sorry for the painful contribution to the tooth ache, tell Greasy Fries to come on down for a night of bug free racin cause they said they sprayed and if the Bugs are still in massive quantities maybe they will play Deliverance over the sound system to give the expected BIG crowd some entertainment while fighting off the Bugs etc.

I will just say this about Creek, tough deal going on up there but you are correct David, let them lose it and have to hit the road to race and deal with the road trips to race, more $$ and then some more $$$ and even a little more $$$$.

BMS might be the BIG benefactor of this, but it would be nice to see a 40 plus Champ Sprint Car count at Lawton, now that would be almost as amazing as Mr. Mossman getting Coach Stoops to show up.

David, I think your ungrateful comment is going alittle to far with the situation at Creek. Unless you have raced there this year you truly have no idea. Creek is as short pull for us but we race there very seldomly preferring to travel with ocrs when my drivers ascs comittments allow. Would i rather race close to home? Absolutely! But being appriciated and treated with respect are much more important to me. I bring a high quality well prepared racecar and a talented driver when i come, its a true shame the facilty cannot also be professional. I could relate several instances this year that would make your jaw hit the floor but will not here. I think we all know that the message boards are filled with keyboard ninjas that just want to stir the pot but unfortunately in this instance some of it has merit.

JD, 40 cars at Lawton just might happen. We need to show Lanny that sprint car racing in Oklahoma is still alive and well and with everybody's help and support this could be the best sprint car show in this state this year. Grab you neighbors and friends and head to Lawton saturday, $10.00 a car load and $ 2.00 gate addmission , that savings can buy a lot of ice tea ...Drivers meeting at 7:30, Races start at 8:30. Lets make this a GREAT SHOW. See Ya There !!!!!

rollout , With Big Time Celebs like Mr. Mossman making an appearance and heard that Paris Hilton will be flying in from the airport across the pasture (affectionally called LAX) and 60 + Sprint Cars in the Pits and a SRO Crowd of 5,000 plus , Lanny runs out of Cups, Hot Dogs , Hamburgers , Soda's , Wrappers, Candy and Popcorn and Frosty Beverages. Lanny gets rich and Lanny and Barry G. and Tom S. can't wipe the smiles off their faces with 60+ Sprinters so they up the purse to $1,500 to win and $350 to start and Kyle and the other OCRS officials all get a raise cause they are just a bunch of hardworking fellas and ladies, WAIT,WAIT,WAIT, I maybe starting to be one of those Keyboard Ninja's starting rumors and strirring the pot,It sure sounds good though, but let me be honest and truthful about something , with all this being a great possibility of happening I think I might go ahead and wear the SPEEDO and my BIG Randle Racing Sandals, I feel it will just set the mood for the evening.

We are going to run a special for people of this website, buy one pulled pork sandwich special and get an extra side or buy a slab of ribs and get one side free (quart size). Just mention this website on Saturday and we will fix everyone up on their way to the races.

Everyone in the pits should wear OU Sooner gear to make Kenny feel like he is roaming the sidelines on the football field. A sea of crimson red and white in the pits, that would look cool. LOL

I won't be able to make Lawton nor Holley's bbq afterall as I am playing that as the unofficial "official" for our NCRA modified south show at Cowton. However, I may have my wife go get her a bbq sandwich and take him up on the side special...

Have fun at Lawton and make sure when you see a tall, dark haired guy who looks like he needs to be behind a desk and not a race track, let out a hearty "BOOOMER!!!" to make him feel at home.
