Fired? He wasn't fired. He was bought out. Steve couldn't financially keep the 11k going full time - so rather than park it he worked out a deal with Stewart to keep Tim out on the road. At least thats how I heard it. wink

hope tk is getting a better % with tsr than skr. wonder if tk was bought or is just on loan. lmao.

Dirtyslidejob you are correct. They might be bringing Rod Tiner on board. Fianlly a good break for Tim

A friendly reply Nana. I don't understand your thinking.

Finally a good break for Tim??? Jeez, SKR wasn't a good break??? The team that won the Nationals in 2005.

Tiner for a what??? Carr, a 4 time Knoxville Nationals champion crew chief.

I have difficulty buying into it, but, faces do change all the time.

i am not sure but i would guess that car would still crew chief paulie mac and they may bring someone in to crew chief for tk. i had heard rod was going to go back out with our guys but i'm sure he would go with tim if tim needed him. remember as of now there are 2 tsr cars and one crew is not going to run them both.or one crew chief. by saying what she did about tiner being brought in she may have meant just what i explained. i did not see her wright that they were bringing in rod to replace carr. i took it they were bringing in rod to help tim, and that would be a good combo.

bud just walked out of my office and he says paulie mac's ride is secure. smoke is helping tk for a couple of weeks to keep him in the points deal and bud is lending his rig. that is according to bud. when i asked what was up with tim the first thing he said was "he needs to find a ride". that info is of right now. hope this info can keep the forum from running wild with speculation. but as usual things can change lol.

Yes, I think you're right about the crew chief part. I misunderstood because of the talk about replacing Carr in another post.

However to say that TK is finally getting a good break??? SKR has top equipment and crews. Maybe what was meant is that he got a bad break by parking the 11k so getting hooked up with Tony and Tiner is a good break.

Just trying to understand the post.

Thanks Team Wright-one. Good luck at the "E". Haud is always awesome there!

im believe what robbie said was all meant as a positive.

one being tim got released from one ride and got another quality ride, and having rodney in his corner will be good for tim also since they know each other so well from past racing experience.

either way its all about one thing.

LET THE TK EXPRESS KEEP ON ROLLING,ALL ABOARD.

Tk and Rod have had an awesome past racing together as driver and crew chief! (2002 GSC "King of California" plus numerous other wins. Their communication is great and Rod knows what TK likes in a car. Just like in Napcar, a great driver and great crew chief don't nessesarily mean success! Just because Carr had so much success with Lasoski doesn't mean anything. If Rod does join Tim that will be a great break for TK!

I just got some very basic info. I don't know if TSR purchased the 11k or is just putting Tim in one of his cars to keep him out on the road. Either way - TK will be in one of Stewart's cars this weekend. After that I have no idea.

Isn't it a break for Tim if he has a solid ride rather than not knowing from month to month if the car was going to be parked? I personally think it is a good thing for him, now he can SHINE..Go TK

i am not trying to rain on the parade but it seems that tk is not out of the dark yet. this deal with smoke as i understand is just a short term helping hand not a full time ride.(at least that is the word now.) smoke is not looking to start another team or switch drivers right now. that is what i was told by bud as i posted earlier. the only reason i passed this on after i asked him if it was true he was lending his rig was to try to keep the rumor mill from working overtime. lets hope timmy can get something solid worked out in the time smoke is willing to afford him with the help of a car to run. bud was nice enough to explain some things and confirm some things when i told him rumors were flying around. it just so happens he was by our office today as he is racing a car around here for rick wright. i have to thank bud for the info because like i said stories can start flying around real fast and the next thing you know there is a bunch of name calling and people getting slammed for no reason. like that would ever really happen. lmao.

Goddam fair weather fans...

Where was all this frenzy about Kaeding when he took the big money for his 1st WoO A Feature win at King's in the Season Opener of '03?

BTW, What ever happend to Jason Lund?

Most of the dirt track fans across the country wouldn't know who Tim was if it wasn't for the "King" giving him the opportunity to showcase his talents across the country running with the best in the business. From the sounds of "Smokes" radio broadcast the "King" was directly involved in getting Tim hooked up again, although it doesn't sound like this was the 1st time that Tony wanted to hire Tim. Tim will be a great asset to TSR whether it's long or short term, if Tony wants another WoO championship he'll keep him aboard, either way he'll be runnin circles around Paulie.

I sure hope to see Tim run again this year in Pa, as he & Steve provided one best races I'd seen last year in the feature @ Tri-City.

Anybody that has ever been to a race knows DAM-WELL who Tim is. Smitty51 you need to have a sit-down with MSPN, and let him explain to you what it means to be a gasser. Tim is the show, almost every single night he races, and he was recognized long before ever driving for Kinser. Until you have that chat, "Stay on the porch!" Go TK

I guess you could be a drone & believe everything he tells you..............after all, that's what he wants!

I'll assume you are brainwashed & believe that Mr. Kinser is EVIL as well?!

I didn't know who Tim Keading was until I went to the 2003 Knoxville Nationals where he couldn't get out of the D main. The only reason I followed him that night was MSPN said to watch out for this kid. He is truly a gasser and as a racefan, I appreciate each and every time I get to see him race. However, I think Smitty51 hits the nail on the head when he says that most of the country, except for the diehards didn't know who Tim Kaeding was until he got in the 11k. For the record, Tim Keading has never qualified for a race at Williams Grove Speedway, lol! Go Brian/Cris!
