When I talked to Lonnie today he said these will be point races. We had alot of rain outs this season.

With this being a point race for the Sport Mods are you drawing for positions for this show?

Thanks for asking. Im sure they are since there will be out of town cars that have not been here. I will find out and post it. But like I said I bet there will be a draw.

I talked to Lonnie and he said the sport mods will have a draw and the modifieds will do the USMTS draw. This is for both nights for both classes.

David,
Surely you dont think there is anything wrong with letting everyone know about this race, do you?
I would think that even you would want the show to be a success, It really shouldnt matter that Enid didnt schedule an NCRA event.... should it?
Because of the short notice, we have to get the word out fast and repeat it alot!!!
Hope you understand...

you know the only problem i see that David might have is that they tried to get enid to have an NCRA race and they declined, then they come along and schedule a race on top of them , that doesnt look good from anyones standpoint, it hurts the locals that want to travel a little bit to support ncra, to not be able able to race at there local track for some good money

Im sure your right but the one thing I have learned in life is that you cant please everyone!!!
Im sure the track scheduled this for their reasons, just as Im sure that the guys will still support the NCRA and Im quite hopeful that there will be quite a good turnout at Enid. I have received emails from quite of few drivers coming from the DFW area, Lubbock, Abilene, and Amarillo. So maybe this will end up being a win win situation for everyone...

Im just guessing here but I believe that jason hughes will show up, it seems like when we have a good show he does, plus USMTS is up north and he doesnt race that region. I have spoken with Johnny Bone jr and Jared Landers, they both told me their schedule was open and would seriously think about it. I have also sent emails to Denny Geiber, he is one of the hottest shoes in a sportmod, also shane hebert from lousiana, not sure if he will even think about it though, he got dq'd twice in Enid last year at the 2500 to win show. I also believe johnny allen will show up, he like our track alot.
I really believe that it will be a decent show!!!Im sure we will get some cars that we never thought we would get and i also believe that we will have some that just race one of the two nights.I have contacted evolution motorsports, trying to get howard willis up here, it didnt seem to promising at first but now there is a bad weather forecast for his local track in southern texas, so maybe!!!

it really doesnt matter to me who races where....
I just want this to be a successful show for Enid!!!
I hope johnny allen does well up there and that Enid fills up the pits with an out landish amount of cars and has one heck of a show.
