Question??? When the 14 pro stock got dq'd, didn't that draw a suspension with it? And wasn't he able to run his modified after the dq? I'm not sure on my facts....just wondering.

I've never heard of a DQ drawing a suspension. So the answer is no.

I was told last night at the board meeting that they made Steve Smith sit out both classes while he was suspended.
I guess if you just race one class, they will not let you in the pits, but if you race two classes, you can get in the pits.
You don't suppose Title 9 has anything to do with it, do you?

Gosey you might have to explain Title 9 to some. I know what it is and I had a little chuckle there.

6/12 4th in mod A, pro's did not run
6/19 2nd in mod A, 13th in pro A

No, the car was DQ for that race, but that DQ did not carry a suspension. Michelle was suspended for 4 weeks for unsportman like conduct the very thing I was suspended for last year and was not able to enter the pits for 2 weeks of Champs sprint races, which wound up being 3 weeks.

So what does Michelle's suspension have to do with Smith's DQ anyway? When did a DQ become a suspension? Have the rules changed? I guess i better get to the rule book and see what it says.
And say what you want boys, Steve has earned them championships. He's the cleanest driver out there BAR NONE.

I'm a big fan of Steves'. There was something that I didn't understand, so the best place to get answers/opinions is here. I thought someone had told me that when you've been dq'd you were suspended/ had to sit out a week. I was looking for clarifaction between being suspended vs sitting out.
When it comes to Steve....he's proof as to what being a Champion is about!!!!!

It probably won't come as a surprise to any of you, who know me, but now I am confused. I was not at the race track last Friday, I went to a family reunion in Texas, so all of my information is second hand. From what I have heard, I should have stayed home and come to the races.
I was told that the girl was suspended for two weeks in the super sprint class. I just got off the phone with one of my reliable sources and he told me she got out of her car in the Champ feature and flipped off one of the officials. I hope I don't end up having to identify my source.
My question is why did they suspend her in the supers, if she was causing problems in the Champs?
I have one other question, if her dad is suspended for shoving an official, who is going to drive the three wheel wagon with the tires in it this week?
Just remember that a $ is a special character and not a letter of the alphabet.

The only time you get suspended after getting DQ'D is if you do something that is cheating, like oversize motor, Illegal Fuel etc
