Lonely???? Are you kidding!!!!!!! As hot as it was and sweating like crazy...I didn't have time to get lonely, had about a half a dozen horseflys biting at me. Speaking of getting dizzy, first time I shot a World of Outlaw race (1977) got extremely dizzy trying to shoot them. First time they came by, I caught myself backing up 4 or 5 steps.
Something I do wish, is that fans that complain about certain conditions, drivers and other things, could spend an evening on the infield, so they could get a different perspective on what goes on during a race. There's alot that goes on that the fan in the stands doesn't get to see, some good, some bad.

The infield is awesome, it's my favorite place to watch a race at any track.

Yeah, Bandit, I'm sure it's an interesting view from the infield. I've been down there after the races and seen a lot of parts and pieces, too. Lotta carnage sometimes. But of course, those of us up in the grandstands see and know everything, don't ya' know? ha. j/k
I also had a bug experience at Meeker, right before the A Feature. It was quite distracting. lol!
