Nice picks, Dog! Good crew of drivers there. But I talked to Gil and he's not racing this week. lol!
Man, I miss the old non-wing modifieds on the 1/4 mile. Suggs was the man, along with Owens, Sellers, Gil White, etc. They just need to chop the wings off the Champs and let 'em get after it again. (Sorry, Dominator Dave.) 
I also miss the Pros on the half mile - Billy South, Perry Robb, Jeff Jackson, Morrison, Olson. That was fun, too. Weren't there 3 cars all similar to Olson's - blue and white? Wasn't he #10? What were the others' numbers and drivers? You got me curious now, thinking back. Good luck with those picks, tho. ha!

Thanks Wescoe! Thought, I'd shake things up. Ha ha. I love the idea of wingless Champs! It would add some variety to the sprint show. Too bad it won't happen. I miss watching a lot of those drivers too! Not so much the tracks... I'm one of those odd balls who likes the 3/8ths better. Ha ha.
Yep. Similar blue and white cars that said Olson Racing on the side. Olson was 10 and the zero of the ten was the "O" in"Olson Racing. I have an old article on the team, clipped outta the newspaper, from back in the day. It has a short write up and a neat black and white photo of the team's equipment, (4 Pro Stocks, 2 IMCA type Modifieds, and a Street Stock) parked in front of their "big rig" hauler. One of the two other drivers was Martin Marlow #21. And I'd have to find the article, but I think the other one was Mark Harrison? Can't for the life of me remember his number, though.
I was thinking about making a post on the team, a while back, to see if anyone knew whatever happened to the team; but I never got around to it. I'd also love to see if anyone has any color pics of the cars, as all I have is the black and white newspaper pic.
I like dirt!
