Hey Kel, I wasn't slamming your post, just having a little fun with it. Surely, as long as you have frequented this board you should know this. And no, I wasn't calling you shirley.

lol, Shirts would be better then a pullover, most grown men I know don't wear pullover hoodies.. Actually no grown man I know wears a pullover hoodie....... maybe a zipper one...............
|
zipper hoodies? yuck. lol
Personally I think hoodies are a great idea - but for all those who like the traditional jackets - and there is nothing wrong with that - but I doubt they like em. I like hoodies because if it's cool enough to wear a jacket - it's more than likely cool enough to pull the top of a hoodie up over your head and keep your ears warm. But thats just my own take it on it.

I wear a pullover hoodie and I am a man, I am 40 (42). So before you go degrading on somebody, come after me.
Also, the New England Patriots head football coach wears hoodies on the sidelines so guess we ain't all that bad.

Majority of our participants prefer Hoodies, I wear em and I am almost 60 years old, dang that's getting up there. LOL
Very comfortable provide the right amount of warmth and are easy to work in. Black so they don't show dirt much either. We are doing Hoodies this season. Road Race Club has sold them by the gross for years. Super popular item.

Thought the hoodie looked really good. I was not as involved this year as last and would not even begin to complain about any decision the members made. If you think the association is run so badly, please step up and see if you can do a better job. All of these VOLUNTEERS bust their butts and show up every month for the meetings just trying to give the drivers something better than a flatbed trailer pulled in the infield for 15 minutes of celebration.
Do I hear anyone stepping up? Did not think so...go figure.

It did not sound to me like kel was putting the members down. It sounded like an opinion being expressed.. Not everybody likes a hoodie.... When your expecting a steak and you get hamburger well you get a bit disappointed... Just like it's a disappointment to read such an unoriginal post. Anytime anyone on here has an opinion some joker gets on here and says the same ol'thing... " if you don't like it then you do it" ( yawn!) How archaic... To some getting the hoodie was the equivalent to a flat bed trailer in the infield for 15 mins of celebration.... So on with the great Hoodie Debate of 2007..........
The first annual meeting for the " Hoodie Haters of American" will meet in the basement of Burlington Coat Factory....

You gotta ask yourself, Would Lanny wear a hoody? NOPE!!!! Yes it will keep your ears warm, but Lanny has the cheeks of his ass to do that.

Last year we ran Lawton just about every Saturday nite. I think we missed 4 or 5 shows. We finished 6th and got a jacket and 100 dollars. At OKC we finished 7th got a jacket and 600 dollars. So I think we would have made out better with the awards being given on the flatbed trailer

That is exactly it. All the assc. is for is the banquet. They damn sure wont try to do anything to take care of the problems at the track. The same ole favortism is there that has been for years and will never change. I was told when this whole deal waas getting started that it would be like the ORA, haha that will never happen. The ORA makes the rules and goes by them and Lanny goes by them. The LSRA will just give you a banquet instead of getting your top 10 JACKETS on the front straight. Another thing is the point fund. Giving the mini stock champ the same as the sprint and mod. That is bs. sSo what if its not fair and they all spend the same time working on them, give the classes that is more expensive to run more of the money. BReak it down on a percentage based on the weekly payout. I have heard alot of drivers complain about that and every driver I have talked to since the banquet thought the hoodies were a joke. So it dont look to me that was a decision made by all members.
Do I want to step up? NO because LSRA is a joke and will be a joke until something is done for the drivers at the track instead of just giving them a banquet.
Funny how in the sprints and mods there were less than 10 cars joined from each class. Ever think it might be cause of getting screwed on the point fund?
