"Did you know we always provide coverage of the support divisions, too? "  Guess that means we get USAC 360's in Vegas and USAC CRA at PAS  :)

Stream has been flawless. Will be the first to admit I was very skeptical of this deal, but DV came through with good pricing and service so far after a night.

Now, let's see if the Outlaws can figure out a way to run a three-class show in under 5 1/2 hours. Sheesh, I'm in central time zone and it must be brutal for the east coasters. Oh, and great news - they're starting a half hour later tomorrow night! Seems about right.

$39.99 /$40 bucks and you cant jump on a month at a time, once you buy it you get a monthly bill for the rest of the season.Unless you cancel it completely. Thats how i read it.Personally week night shows are only ones i watch cause we race on Fri/Sat nights.Might still do it .

that's how I read it too, but surely that's not right?

Looking at the schedule, I would probably buy in for July and October.

Hopefully I can just cancel before start of August and pick back up October 1

No way I would commit $320

You don't have to commit to $320, you can cancel giving them 48 hours notice.  This month there might be 10 shows, I haven't looked but somebody mentioned that.  If $4 a show is to rich for ya' I'd get a paper route on the side or a part-time job at Mickey D's, you can do it.....

I went to bed around 1, right before the Usac feature, glad I cut it short as I saw the WoO a main didn’t get done until past 2:30!

As it is, the video quality, which has been hit or miss in the past didn’t buffer once.

very Happy so far, the West Coast shows were always going to be tough To stay up for, hopefully tonight is earlier night.

It would make sense for the western swings that they limit the events to just one support class because of how late it gets in other parts of the country. JMO

Why should a promotor care about a desktop jockey's opinion from another part of the country?  By that logic, races on the east coast shouldn't start till like 10pm est so us left coasters don't miss the start after work.

The promotor shouldn't, but the video entity that is owned (or extremely close) with the series should very much care.

In all honesty, it's probably a moot point given how that there's not a ton of west coast races, but there isn't much value to probably 2/3rds of their viewer base when A Mains aren't getting done until 1 or 2 a.m. on weeknights.

Keep in mind 1-2am is only 10-11pm on the coast and Vegas is the city that never sleeps and time means nothing there.  Most of the California tracks have strict curfews so that won't happen.  But as I said, I think it's silly to cater to a demographic in a different tome zone when Sprint car racing is very much a gate driven sport. The streaming portion is just an added layer.  I don't expect Williams Grove to start their program at 10pm eastern time just so I don't miss any heat races.

What makes you more than a "desk top jockey"? :) And all opinions should be weighed.....the track and promoter are getting a piece of the PPV to I would imagine.

Why no streaming devices?  That's the reason I subscribe to LORTV, they make it easy for cord cutters by offering through Roku.  My only options the way it is now is a computer monitor or hauling my wife's laptop downstairs and connecthing through HDMI.  Too much hassle, even for the Outlaws.

They need an app so that you could do it.

Not sure what the delay is but thats the next step.

The "billed automatically monthly unless you cancel" thing is standard procedure for this (online streaming services, etc.) and many other industries.  That's nothng new and whether you think it's somewhat "shady" (not saying you said that but there is a faction of the world that thinks auto billing is shady) or not, it's certainly pretty much standard procedure.  I have Spotify.  It auto bills unless I manually cancel.  Satellite Radio?  Same thing.  Those are just two examples but this practice transcends multiple industries.  So, yes you can cancel at anytime, but it is an extra manual step to do.  Set a reminder on your phone and/or calendar and set it like the day before your month is up so you remember to cancel.

Chromecast might work for you. Just plug the little device into the TV‘s HDMI and broadcast over wifi from desktop, laptop, phone and etc. Base wireless version is $35 and works with a ton of other programs/apps.

I have a new laptop I bought for my wife with HDMI out so I could mirror the screen to my 55" TV.  That option is available if I want to haul the laptop to the man cave every night.  My desktop PC is setup for music production with a 22" monitor but the office chair doesn't recline.  I do that for a few Ppv but wouldn't do it every night for a month.  Retirement in 5 months so not wanting to buy anymore devices.  Either it's Roku or I don't do it for the month.
