It might be slow and street stocks might be faster than this but this has been the best nascar race in a long time. I agree with having sprint cars as a support division if they do this again. Of course if they do that, the trucks will become the support division once the Nascar fans see those sprint cars go around that place.

Good posts tonight. I too have been enjoying the A main. It's like the rest or the world is getting a little taste of our world tonight. Realizing how much fun dirt racing can be. A close, competitive end would be icing at this point.

The only problem with the sprints running with them, would be the rubber down conditions...it would be a superfast parade.

This has turned out to be a great race. Haven't seen anything this good in quite awhile. Glad I stayed tuned!

With that caution, Dillon has this one in the bag...too bad there is only one fast way around on the restarts. Good show though.

Hats off to Tony Stewart, Eldora Speedway, and the Campingworld Truck Series...1st truck race I have watched since they started running the series. I was entertained, the racing was exciting, and it was a good show.

It was a positive for every dirt track with the help of satellites, around the world.

someone on here previously had mentioned wanting them to look at running 1 mile dirt tracks. I gotta say, that is a great idea.

Not my first watch, but the most enjoyable. Agreed, thanks to those that put this deal together.

19-second laps vs. low 13's? LMAO, I'll stick to watching cars that belong on dirt.
|
Well I'll take that action with those lap times, not too bad at all.
Saw it posted on Facebook somewhere, Knoxville next year, we'll see.

Are the Duquoin and Springfield Mile tracks still in operation? I found the race very entertaining.

I LOL'd at them referencing the cars running the cushion ... there was none -- just some dust up by the wall.
And FYI - I still don't subscribe to 'what used to be Speedvision' ... I found the race streaming online from europe.

Very enjoyable..especially since it is NASCAR.
Was surprised with a couple of drivers. I thought Hines would be up front and I was REALLY surprised with Bloomquist finishing two laps down. That was a shock!
All in all the feature, unlike the heat races, provided some good racing.
The "B" Main with Benning and the 68 truck were my highlights...especially the smile on Benning's face after the race. Truly a Kodak moment!

That was the best racing I've seen on TV for a long time. I would like to see NASCAR bring them to Knoxville as a support class for our weekly shows (just kidding). I do think NASCAR needs to schedule more races like this.

Knoxville is about the only other dirt track (other than the Springfield, Syracuse, DuQuoin & Indy miles) where I think they'd have the possible seating and infrastructure to handle such an undertaking.
