He pretty much dominated the non wing show in his first time driving for the Hoffman team in 2011. He won his heat, his qualifier and the 30 lap main event that paid $15,000. So yep, he has definitely dominated in Iowa. He also won a prelim night at the Knoxville Nationals, nothing to sneeze at.

To add--First 2 time winner of the Ultimate challenge in Osky. Knoxville nationals rookie of the year 2012--and made A main in his only 2 trips. Won his prelim. night on his first trip there--right in front of Donny. Won on non-quali night out of 71 cars--of which there were many very quality cars in 2013. Finished 6th in his second trip to the Nationals. 2012 Jesse Hockett Mr. Sprint Car for overall points in Iowa sprint weeks.
Sure, there are many who have done things like this before--but most race more than handful of races in Iowa to pick up this many credits. Some guys race in Iowa for seasons on end and wouldn't end up with these stats. With that said--he has dominated in Iowa-on given nights and as an overall picture--pretty stout.

I am not a Kyle Larson fan but I am a dirt fan and as I do with all dirt guys, I wish him the best in NASCAR and hope to see him wheel a sprint car again. Plane and simple the kid is a gasser and has proven he can drive a race car with the big guys, Saturday's Nationwide race proves that.
How about moving onto something else. This along with the Danica thing is getting realy old.

Still off topic--Sick goal by Shaw!! There's a reason that guy is my favorite player! He plays like he's 6'4 and 235 lbs.

Patrick Roy the coach or the goalie? And, who are your sources? I find it hard to believe he could have lead his team to a playoff berth as a 21 year old coach. Maybe as a net minder, but I would have to see some footage and a scouting report. He seems small.

I am thinking that Patty Roy may end up being as good of a coach as he was a netminder. I always liked him. Loved his intensity, and he brings it to the bench. He is the reason for my Hockey ressurection, that and Bill Wirtz's death. Hail, Hail, Rocky Wirtz. BIG 2 game stretch starting tonight. Reading what we read on here, I am a firm believer that Kyle Larson could be Corey Crawford AND Jonathan Toews at the same time.....

In the 5 minute flurry that was Blackhawk's playoff ticket sales--I got lucky and scored 4 seats for round 2, game 2. IF we win our 1st series, it looks like those tickets will be for Game 4 against St. Louis! I am going to have to try to make some money off of 2 tickets and go with the other two--They cost me $800 for 4 upper decks!! Yikes!! Only bought them because I knew they would be selling like hot cakes should the Hawks get to round 2. If not, i get my money back anyways!
