O I am well aware of how the CURRENT racing world works. Dont worry with the example Larson has lead by paying for high profile rides to get himself in the limelight I am sure will no doubt comeback and bite him once he moves farther and farther up the ladder and them rides get more and more expensive. The ends has justified the means for so long to "Show case his talent". Thank you Kyle Larson, David Abreau and everyone who has helped turn sprint car racing in to exactly what Indy Cars and Nascar have become into a showcase of those who have the most money to buy there way in to the show rather then the top talent in the country.

your donation to the jeff gordon cancer foundation helped fund kyles run to a second gold cup victory.

you must be so proud.

wilma sham pain is now all bent out of shape sending me emails because i pointed out that his donations to the jeff gordon cancer foundation helped to fund kyle larson's gold cup ride.

he said the money funded shane stewart.

well wilma, you are saying people are buying shane stewart the ride?

the money from the foundation goes to the team, no matter who is in the car, so thank you again for helping the team put kyle in the car to win his second gold cup.

you helped buy him a great ride.

I have no idea how drivers get their rides, but I challenge any of these clowns accusing Kyle of buying rides to get in the fastest sprint car in the world & actually DRIVE IT IN COMPETITION. Good luck, talk is cheap, hope you don't get hurt too bad....

Will, People have been funding drivers, both proffesional, and ameature since the 30's. I am sure even before. This is nothing CURRENT. Your big problem is your out of control Jealousy. If you are as good as you think you are, I am sure your big break will come, then you can take the fight to the funded drivers, and show them how its done. Until that time, enjoy your completely self funded racing, and I am sure Kyle will have no regret with those who have helped him on his path to where he is going. I am sure if anyone has a regret, it could only be the Generous people who have Chosen to help him, and that is not for you to comment on, unless you are looking to step up and write a check yourself.

so what if larson has backers who recognize his talent? why is that any different than a driver having a personal sponsorship contract that he brings to a ride? there are quite a few that have that and, apparently , they cant keep up with larson.

and there are rich daddys everywhere that put their kids in cars and those kids have half the talent larson has.

doenst matter who or how much money you bring to the table if you cant perform.

Yes, and Donny bought Tony Stewart's ride. At least I think that is how it worked, right Will?

I mean it's crazy that Kyle has enough money to buy out Jeff Gordon!

I drove 510 miles each way to watch this GOLD CUP and it was worth every penny I spent. From Wednesday thru Saturday I had a great time I got to see something very special . and if I'm lucky I may see another exhibition of driving like that again . Kyle was outstanding all week long and I'm glad I was there to witness this.
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

Calm down. Kyle probably didnt have to beat an old Mopar like the guys at Port. Doug Esh had his Chinese piece haulin to beat Graval's premier power plant.

Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

He bought the right ride that is for sure.

What the hell is this suppose to mean exactly? Did he go buy a Sprint Car that was hands over fist better than Swindells, Schatz's, Kinsers or Dolansky? Explain

I'd hold off a while on losing Larson full-time to NASCAR. Established drivers are finding it difficult to find the $25 million a year it takes to fund a team, let alone a promising but unproven commodity like Larson. Until he can find some big money he can take to a NASCAR team with him, you'll be seeing him on the dirt for a while. The days of quality drivers, like Gordon and Stewart, getting rides for being good are over, it's all about the money now.

just fyi he already has signed with earnhardt/ganassi racing at the beginning of the year. fact

race on .

This is the dumbest comment I have ever read. I could buy the entire KKR outfit if I had the $$$ and Id still finish dead last... even if he has brought a ride, that dont put him in victory lane - his talent does that... Wake up, your making a fool of yourself.

Still waiting for you to give me proof that Kyle paid more then 1 cent for the Paul Silva ride. Ill eagerly await any evidence you have that supports your statements..............

great post Dhowe. larsons share of the 20 for the win is 8k. for the 360 win lets be conservative @ 3k, and the usac win 2k.

so just for grins he makes say 13k for the week, who is paying who we all say. most of us are intelligent enough to figure out how it works, cept you know who

PS...LMAO
