Only the HL has a deeper roster than do the Woo. The way it looks to me both Ellison and Schatz both have one win each.....just saying.

The new WoO pit reporter took a walk over to it and said it closed in 2012 (I believe) due to "issues with the local gov". Blew me away that those two tracks were that close and operated independent of each other - on the same night! Crazy.

The WoO pit reporter didn't tell the whole story and of course no way he would actually know it. There were two issues, one major electrical issue that was going to cost $50k and an environmental issue that would cost $125k for a total of $175k. The track owner refused to fix it and told the promoter that he would have to pay the $175k if he wanted to keep the track open. Of course you know how that went...
The one irony is that the more expensive problem, the environmental issue, was caused by the owner's son-in-law spreading ground up roofing shingles in the parking lot. Too bad it happened that way. If one of those tracks was going to close I would rather have kept Cowtown rather than KSP.

Schatz won against the Woo and SOME of the Freedom fighters while Eliason won a local race at BAPS big difference and Schatz has outrun him head to head every time this year...just saying.

true, but neither can HL homers or lovers/haters of certain tracks. I'm glad I'm just a race fan and not blinded by chosing a side or liking/not liking a certain driver.

Schatz is 16 points out of the lead in WoO standings, with 1 win in the series so far this season. How's Eliason doing over there in High Limit?

I will not be at Port anytime this year I am going west to Eldora and Lernerville to see the HL...you know real dirt tracks....not asphalt like Port.
