So that puts you in the 100% catagory then, you were dissing Sides & your crying & sobbing over an incident that happened a WEEK ago. It's funny how both the drivers & crews have let it go,& actually they both joke about it now. Yet your still here holding on & sobbing away over what happened, get over it cry baby. Careful,if the tears flow too much your gonna short circuit your keyboard out! LMFAO

Well NWFAN and openwheeler are left coasters with a huge chip on their shoulders against the WoO. Fuck these assholes, the WoO is and will always be the premiere series!!

The WoO Sprint coverage is no longer because they failed to pay last years bill.
|
You know that 100% ????
You also forget that the channel they were broadcast on is no longer even there (replaced by FS1) - FS1 is currently finishing out the contracts in place and will not renew ANY racing going forward. Their goal is to compete against ESPN Networks, Auto Racing is not one of the venues ESPN will have in 2015 (and maybe 2014 if they can get out of their contract with NASCAR) - it's all about College and Pro FB, Basketball, and MLB....

It's unsportsmanship to stand in front of a crowd ready to lynch and apologize to them and your competitor?
Video shows Sweet either undecided which line he was going to take into 1 or missing what he was aiming for. Then heads low to try and pinch off the impending pass. It wasn't until contact was made down low that both cars shot up the track.
Now what is it that Sides owes you?
The greatest knowledge is to know that you know nothing
at all.

well, guess being in attendance and seeing the turn of events is better that keyboard commando watching the video and makin such foolish statements like "it's not like he deliberately drove straight into the side of him, it was racing". thank you for the confirmation.
anyway, how did this thread begin? think we need to get back to that.
personally i do not hate the woo-zers but the way wrg continues to do business and make up the rules as they go, is getting old i think! charging 20k a night sanction fee = (tickets saturday $50.00!) where will it end, when lucas takes over?
and yes, if i don't like it dont go right? passed up on skagit woo, elma woo, willamettte woo, cottage grove woo, medford woo all in one week and watched some kick ass usac at stoga instead......peace out

I think you've been predicting the demise of the WoO since the NST tour.
As for the $50 ticket to the Gold Cup, chalk that up to Chico greed, as it was $50 a ticket when it was a $50k to win show, now it's a measly $12k.

My beef with the Outlaws/WRG:
1. Follow the leader parades
2. Winners usually starts in the first two rows
3. Most of the drivers are poor promoters of their sport/sponsers. Last year at Eldora, Schatz was signing autographs at an STP booth. I went to his souvenier trailer and bought 70 bucks worth of his stuff (shirt and mini wing panel), then got in line and asked him to sign it. I was polite and respectful. His attitude was terrible, and I felt stupid and foolish for dropping that kind of cash on someone who could give two sh_ts.
4. I can (and do) go to a track like Waynesfield, Ohio and see 35-ish non wing sprintcars for 12 bucks and see 10 times better racing for a fraction of the cost. There is better sprintcar racing out there than the WoO.
5. Their announcer is irratating like Stan said.
Just my opinion. My money is just as green as anybody else's here on this board.

its funny how no matter what forum you go on every post ends up going off topic onto a sh#t fight lol.
thanks larsonfan for ya input, I am a massive Shatz fan, have never met him or raced against him but he seems like a good dude, just extremely focused and somewhat intense as most people at the top of their chosen profession are
