Promoter shouldn't be able to run his own race anyhow.
|
hes not the promoter, he is the owner and its doubtful he would be treated any differently than any other driver. just because of that reason.

Just saw the replay on Speed Center. It looked like smoke checked up and Kinser ran over the back of him, then they played the replay of the interview. Classic Smoke. LOL

I agree with your assessment. I was sitting right in front of where Stewart flipped and had my eye on Kinser, because he's my favorite, and it appeared that Tony got a bit aggressive and then had to check up and that's when Steve hit him. Steve doesn't have a history of running into cars. He wouldn't have won so many races if he had been. I have a video of the race from the outlaw.com if anyone wants to see it.
It was just one of those racing deals and Tony lost his cool.

I don't care who u are, you don't call out anyone over the PA system especially the King. The boo birds will descend on him at Osky and the Nationals if he runs them. Exactly why I don't cheer for Tony. IMO just just plain no respect for the elders.

I have enjoyed reading the justifications for Smoke's and Steve's actions... GO SAMMY!

Guess a hemorrhoid like Tony Stewart would know an asshole when he sees one. Who's the asshole now Tony after you wiped the field in New York cherry picking instead of racing with the WOO at Lernerville?

Smoke disagrees with PHJIndy:
"I just had to deal with my a**hole teammate Steve Kinser," Stewart said over the PA system. "It's about normal for him... he already tried to run over us once in the main. The a**hole finally got us the second time."

As a Sammy fan you couldn't be more lost when trying to comment on the supposed reckless driving of another competitor. I've been watching sprint cars for over 30 years and Sammy ranks high in two categories 1)talent 2) reckless driving with zero concern for his fellow racers. He has earned his reputation not through a singular incident but rather years of them. Sometimes you need to know when to not defend the indefensible, thats just how it goes.
Cheers!

Tony Stewart and Steve Kinser come together and Tony goes ass-over-tea kettle. Then when interviewed, Smoke told the crowd (and Dirt Vision audience) "my a-hole teammate finally got me."
Anyone who saw it.....who was in the wrong????
Did the King not learn you "don't cross the boss?"

Do those anger management classes work???????????? Is it good to get rid of dead wood? Yes. And in some cases it's better for the dead wood.

I'd be willing to bet the house if the shoe were on the other foot and it was Steve calling Tony, Sammy,or anyone else an "a-hole" you Kinser fans would be hootin' it up big time....

My point exactly... Long Live The Queen.

Tony is (maybe used to be) a BIG fan of Steve's, used to buy all his stuff at the Hall of Fame auctions back in the day (indirectly, lol)...

I've watched Sammy "race" since he was a young pup! I've seen him run over more cars than I could count. I especially remember the night that he ran Mike Blake almost off the track at the Indiana Fairgound Mile in the late 80's. This happened during hot laps!
