I thought the show was great and more than worth the $20. Sure, track wasn't the best and hurt guys who qualified near back. I saw plenty of passing in heats. Heskin was coming, just ran out of laps to catch Saldana. McCarl started row 4 and transferred. I thought the A feature was exciting. Maeschen was absolutely hauling a$$. Made Shaffer look like he was running a 360 until he was held up by lapped traffic. Was it Knoxville's best racing... no. But still way above average. Plus almost 70 cars, nearly all very fast. I loved the showt. But I agree. Come and run or don't come at all (Schatz). Knoxville might need to make it a $10k to $15k to win race to keep 70 cars in the future.
