Look I've been watching these threads starting last night, and the amount of dumb-asses shouldn't surprise me. but it does. I just couldn't help myself... Most of the time I just try to be helpfully, but you have to admit that a lot of the problems people have been having (outside of the stream problem itself) has been because of some problem besides Dirtvision's: there's

For about a half hour, if not more, the link was down, this was just after 7:00 EST, just after the audio was supposed to start, and thus when many people were trying to log on. That's why these posts started. Just after eight (I tried to log on just after 7:30, and I don't know how long before that the link was down) the link began to work. When I come on here to post about my problem, it's less me trying to bitch, than it is me just trying to figure out if other people are having the same problem. By posting here, I am trying to figure out if the problem is at my end or dirtvision's. Considering there were many people with the same problem at that time, and considering that these same people seemed to stop having the same problem at the same time, it seems pretty clear that the dirtvision link was indeed down for that period of time. For people who logged in either before or after that period of time as you did, the problem did not effect them. Just because you luckily did not have to deal with the frustration, doesn't mean you can come on here all high and mighty calling people names. And again point to where I was bitching, because my sole aim in posting was to diagnose the problem. Yes, some people were bitching, but as was said by "slammin", they paid 34.95. I didn't pay for video and was only seeking audio, and thus, I wasn't quite as upset with the situation, but I can understanding being upset if I had paid 34.95 and couldn't get on.

I thought I made it clear that I was looking at the overall post's for the last two day's. I sure as hell wasn't referring to your post. In fact I'd have to go back to see what you said. This thread for instance is more like rational people, instead of dumb-asses who apparently can't even read..http://www.hoseheadforums.com/forum.cfm?ThreadID=51440

I understand that you weren't posting about me personally, but you were lumping me and a whole bunch of people together and calling us all crybabies, and you seem to not be capable of understanding that the majority of us, with a few exceptions have been posting our problems not simply to bitch but to see if others are having similar problems and to see if anyone has a resolution. I took it as an insult to me personally, because many of these "dumbasses" have not actually been bitching but just posting the problems they have been having. By suggesting they all have a personal problem, you were suggesting that I had a personal problem, even if that's not what you meant to say, and thus I use myself as an example in telling you that we are not all bitching. Whether or not we have personal problems, you do not need to be one of them.

None of the www.dirtvision.com links worked for me still ... The only way I was able to access the site was to use this link --
http://64.38.1.235/welcome.php
Then after logging in to my account - at the time - I was only able to access the video thru the little "watch/listen now" icon at the bottom of the section. The big text link did not work and was pointing to dirtvision.com rather than the 64.38.1.235 ip - apparently that has now been fixed and is pointing to the 64.etc address.
www.dirtvision.com is still not working here as of 10:45 CST and FF says it can't connect to the address and still is giving this error message "Firefox can't find the server at www.dirtvision.com". Now - even the header link at the top of the pseudo DV page is pointing to the 64. address -- apparently the "DNS propagation" has failed -- at least to this point in time and the dirtvision.com URL is belly-up .... at least for now.....
Moral of the story is IF YOU WANT TO ACCESS DIRTVISION (and avoid frustration) you MUST use --

Another reason me and Slamm1n got upset is you used the word dumbass, not long after joeltrasker came on here and personally insulted us by calling us the exact same thing, back when we were "rationally" trying to figure out what the problem with the site was. The site started working right before he logged on and he came on here and called us all dumbasses for not being able to log on when he logged on just fine. This caused us to be offended and retaliate by explaining that the site had just started working, and expressing our displeasure at his namecalling. Not sure if you saw trasker's post, but shortly after this you made your post and said there were a number of dumbasses on this thread, and that you had had no problem logging on, making it look like you were following up where trasker left off.

As of the time of this post the dirtvision.com URL/domain name is still inoperable. Again - to avoid frustration use ---

As detailed in the post above yours - NONE of the dirtvision.com type URL addresses are working at this time (at least for me with both FireFox and IE) -- the only address working for me is this one --
http://64.38.1.235/welcome.php
As always "your mileage may vary"...
