Guess this means instead of going to HOOTERS two or three times a week that now it is down to one day a week. I will also do my damndest not to spend any money in the OKC limits.

Once the race track has its last race I willl never darken the gates of the @&**#@! fairgrounds again. I know I am but one person but its my own little way of protesting all the childhood memories that my kids will mostly never know. The monorail, sneeking in the races in the top of the Richard Gilliams hauler, tractor pulls, world of outlaws races, cotton candy with a touch of dirt, begging for a new tee shirt or flag, or god forbid Races during the fair. Since it appears that the fair board doesn't care about the racers I wonder why they are still having the swap meet and auction there?

Generating income from what it takes to lease the building I suppose.
And my opinion and feelings have nothing to do with the speedway but the tax that we don't need for eyecandy improvements. Schools, roads and public safety is alot more important.

Maybe we should all call Greg Deatherage and see if he would consider changing where the swap meet is held in the future.

David, I am with you. I will drive 30 miles out of my way to avoid spending money in the city limits.
