John Kearney Said it well...... This award(plaque) is bigger and alot more special than any of the other trophies he has recieved. and I agree.... The Knoxville Hall of Fame, is the reason why we have what we do today and to them I STAND AND SAY THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!

Hall of Fame night is always one of my favorites. I love to see the old cars and the people who get inducted. People who have given so much to their sport deserve the recognition. Most people never even see the Knoxville HoF under the grandstands in turn 1. It's not much to look at, but at least Knoxville has something there to honor them where most tracks don't even have a Hall of Fame.

It would be cool if they did something with it someday. I mean it is nice that they even have it there. Though it would be cool if they got it out someplace that was not so out of the way. Have a small building or something some place. Not only have a plaque for the person but maybe some pictures with each person.

True, there is plenty of unused space below the stands where they could expand that, maybe have a enclosed area with some videos playing, maybe a REAL gift shop similar to what the NSCHoF&M has ya know.

If you thaught knoxville was bad, its a good thing you weren't at I-90 on the 4th. Had a four car wreck on the back stretch, with three of the four flipping. They had ONE wrecker at the track! When you have to take them back to the pits one at a time, that was a long red let me tell ya.
