yeah. this thread will only still apply if they run SFS next weekend. And I cant help but think if they were gonna do that, they would have announced it by now.
If they dont run next weekend, and they dont run June 26th (open date)........then week 1 will be made up on week 19. And thus our fantasy league will open up with Week 2 matchups - 2 weeks from tonight (april 10th). and in that scenario - I will open that Week 2 thread next weekend.
It's pretty fun doing this. There are a lot of fantasy league's out there, but not very many where you can meet and know everyone playing. For a local fantasy league barely a year old - its ultra-competitive. and appears to have a lot of support. I hope all or most that play continue to in the years ahead. It;s awesome getting to meet new folks, or folks you have talked (or argued lol) with on here for a long time. Seeing entire families partake in it. forming friendships and rivalries. And it's awesome being able to do it on this site, where all oklahoma race fans come to congregate already. win-win for everyone.
The SFS Fantasy League is absolutely rollin' right now. I am grateful for the acknowledgements I receive for it, but I attribute it more to the great folks who were instrumental in its formation, and all those who have played in the least year, and especially those playing this year. It's because of them - that I can do this. So thanks to you to Jimmy

Unfortunately, tho, our Fantasy has turned into a Nightmare this weekend. At least we got the Elite 8, which includes the SOONERS and Blake Griffin's Dream season against UNC and Hansbrough. That oughta be a great matchup! BOOMER SOONER!!

i worked for Tulsa Speedway till it closed. i work for OCRS now and enjoy it! we have a good time and it is a good series... i have not been to SFS since Shane had it. we went almost every friday in the mid 80s until Tulsa went to 2 nights a week....have a lot of good memories there aand saw the best world of Outlaw feature ever there....i loved the big track......
