Very sad to hear the news. I guess Manzy will be a track that I wish I could have seen in person. I'll never forget watching the Slick 50 series from the winter of 92-93. That was just the greatest series of races I'd ever seen on tv. Vegas is no Manzy but maybe the Copper on Dirt could be moved to there? Guess I'll give Grep Stephens and some others a shout and get some more old vids from Manzy.
As for Perris, Yzman and Spike told me 4 or 5 years ago at the Chili Bowl that it could go away in a few years with all of the residential development going on around the track. It's still going but for how much longer? : (

Wow. I cancelled my trip from MN to go to Copper on Dirt and was going to make up for it by hitting the Western World this fall. Spent two years in AZ and maybe missed two sprint car shows that entire time. Absolute shock....
