Was there ever a time when mullets weren't great???

Hmmmm interesting question Willie. The mullet was popular mid eighties through early to mid nineties. Swayse set the standard with his classic Roadhouse version then a little later Jean Claude Van Damme ruined it for everyone that was unattainable for most. The great Rico revival was a little too aggressive more Joe Dirt than Dalton.

Drivers and teams would be wise to listen to advice from everyone. One never knows who may step up and sponsor them or buy their swag.  I know a couple of his sponsors. I thought about becoming one but not replying to emails from them caused me to lose interest. One never knows . . . . . .

You're wrong. Just listening to anyone and everyone because they might have some money is absolutely stupid. Some people who have money don't know their ass from a tin cup. What makes you think Balog would want you questioning his talent, intelligence, equipment  etc. after a solid 4th place run against the best in the business? Most people would rather you just keep your money as opposed to having a pain in the ass pseudo intellectual douche wagon like you around. There's no shortage of people like you in the sport and guys like Balog who have been around for awhile usually learn to spot them from a mile away. So I'm sure he's just fine living his dream without having you around to shit on everything he does.

I gotta be honest. I probably wouldn't reply to your emails either.

Sure, and running against Eliason and Parker Price Miller would surely put the fear of God in any sprint car driver...

You WoO fanboys crack me up. You act like the outlaws are packed with heavy hitters top to bottom, who are all vying for the championship. I'm not gonna engage in the driver bashing that you all seem to enjoy so much with Corey Eliason, but there are a few also-fans on the outlaw tour in case you haven't noticed. I think Eliason and PPM are pretty solid, maybe not going to challenge for the championship, but they're all competitors, and may snag a win or two here or there. You might also want to mention some of the other drivers in high limit, like Rico, Sweet, Brent Marks, Tyler Courtney, Zeb Wise, Jacob Allen, McFadden.... those seem to stack up pretty well with the WoO roster? Seems like both have a quality field.

To be fair, it should be pointed out that the talk about Eliason is an ongoing dig at B Strawser26, the attention bore, and his insistence that Eliason racing in High Limit is equal to Schatz racing in the World of Outlaws.

I've seen Eliason race a couple times at Husets. He has what it takes to be a good sprint car driver in that he's entertaining to watch. That's what we're seeking in our love for this sport- entertainment.

As far as the H-L verses WoO thing, I think it's overblown. The two are so alike that they are simply 2 sides of the same coin. Both will be fine. There are enough cars to go around, and both should have a good year.

Lighten up Mike!   And see Murphy's comment about this.   I happen to have a good amount of admiration for a driver who gets out there in between cancer treatments.

I've learned in the real world people you don't expect to have money often times do.

Is it really hard to reply? Obviously not for some morons . . . . . .

People with the gold make the rules . . . . . . .  been like this for a very long time. LOL

I've also learned in the real world, money doesn't necessarily buy you success nor does it automatically mean that someone is going to include you just because you go waving some around in their face and tell them how much smarter you are than them. In fact a lot of times, that'll put people off. Especially when it's not necessarily needed. Balog has had a great career without you or your money. So he's doing just fine. He doesn't need you or your self righteous bullshit

I have to ask, why does this place go out of its way to crap on balog and the IRA? like you guys crapped on him for finally leaving the IRA and running all stars, then you crap on him running with the outlaws, and when he does run well there's a heavy majority that still thinks that he is doing a terrible job. I get that some may not like him or feel that he is overrated for his success with the IRA but dang guys it's literally every little thing he does and you guys trash him. He is keeping up with the top guys while racing them clean, which is a far cry from what a bunch of the other high priced teams do to him. He's keeping up in the rookie of the year points against a highly funded roth team and could easily find himself battling for sixth in points once Sheldon chokes away another race and junks his equipment.

I may be biased being a long time IRA fan and seeing one of our own be successful on a national stage but I will say that I have a great deal of respect for a guy who is willing to take a chance on himself and chase his dreams down even when it means that he has to foot the bill himself.

I don't see many people "crap on" Balog and the IRA. I think most people understand that they're weekend racers, and most if not all have FT jobs. Don't fall into the trap of dogging other drivers b/c someone on here said something negative about your favorite driver.

Don't take the loud minority for the thoughts of the majority.

I'm glad he's had the opportunity to show case his talents on a larger stage.

So, what did Warren Buffett think of your advice? Or did he not reply to your emails?

This got me wondering, if they start carving the Mt. Rushmore of sprint car drivers in the near future, should they only complete Steve, Sammy and Wolf's busts for now?  You know, just in case they have to put Eliason up instead of Donny?  I'm thinking ahead, and it might be worth the forethought.  Could save a lot of money in the future when it has to be redone.

Only the HL has a deeper roster than do the Woo.   The way it looks to me both Ellison and Schatz both have one win each.....just saying.

Let's go Sprint Car Racing!

Knoxville - Best Track In the USA!
Eldora - 2nd Best Track in the USA!

Schatz won against the Woo and SOME of the Freedom fighters while Eliason won a local race at BAPS big difference and Schatz has outrun him head to head every time this year...just saying.

The new WoO pit reporter took a walk over to it and said it closed in 2012 (I believe) due to "issues with the local gov". Blew me away that those two tracks were that close and operated independent of each other - on the same night! Crazy.

I'm not surprised that it looks that way to you. You keep saying that HL has a deeper roster. What exactly does that mean to you?
