If nothing else, racing message boards are consistent in the amount of whinning, complaining and bitching that goes on. Biggest dirt race out there and all most of you can do is complain. Enjoy it while it’s still around, guys.

Ok...  I just watched the actual replay in the Dirtvision Vault...

3:52:07  - the moment the car stopped in the work area and people actually touched the car

3:54:28  - the moment when the push truck began moving the car

Total elapsed time... 2 minutes 21 seconds

From the stands to me it seemed longer than that, but those are the actual timestamps.

One possible explanation could be the timestamps were doctored by the New World Order or even the Clintons.

Great job Pete.

I believe it seemed longer because it took an ETERNITY to get the car to the work area.  Everyone seemed restless but you are correct, it seemed MUCH longer but it was not that out-of-bounds by any stretch.

I agree.  My thoughts while were in the stands "well, if he gets up there, let David kick his ass fair and square"  wink

It took forever for them to push Danny back to the work area.  Don't know why they didn't use a truck instead of pushing him with a 4 wheeler.  My thought while watching it was that they did that in order to give the crew time to get parts and tools ready but that's just the conspiracy theorist in me.

Had they not said we're going back to green and turning off the yellow light and then turning it back on and sending Donny out, I think fewer people would have been suspicious.  It was only a couple of laps where he was actually in the pits.

And as another poster noted, it's the Greatest SHOW on Dirt.

I heard they gave the 15 extra time to unload and load their trailer.  And they gave Donny extra time during driver introductions.  I read it on the internet so it must be true

They did turn the yellow off and then back on.

I remember Steve being left in the pits one year.  The car was ready with a pushtruck behind it and they backed it off.  He was going crazy waving his arms and stuff.  The race went green then immediately yellow again before a lap was complete for an unknown reason.  They pushed Steve off and he went back to racing.  I figure it might have been Cappy on the radio.  Lol.

It's Knoxville rules...2 laps from the time the car gets to the work area. not sure why Donny didnt cut through the infield rather than goint around 3 and 4 as that time doesnt matter other than wasting others fuel but regardless, the 2 laps started when the pace truck was in 3 and 4. yellow lights went out during second lap thinking wally was going to pull in the backstretch but then was corrected as the 2 laps would not be up until he got back to 3 and 4 so essentially, donny was able to have an extra 3/4 due to where the initial 2 laps started.

but go ahead and keep up the conspiracy theories since you guys have nothing better to do on here
