To DrySlickWillie,

Y'all or Ya'll got Buc-ees in TX, never seen a station with 40+ pumps, go in to buy clothes, food, gas grill or most of your groceries as needed.

Buc-ee's Katy Store

Actually, the one pictured here is one of the smaller ones.   Some of them have another row of gas pumps between first row and the street, and others have additional pumps off of one side of the building.   The one in New Braunfels, Texas between Austin and San Antonio has well over 100 gas pumps.

I once puked from eating half a casey's supreme pizza one night, but it could've been because I drank a 12 pack of Busch Light and 2-3 rum and cokes and smoked a a half pack of cigarettes before eating it...I can't remember for sure.

LoL...This has got to be the best post on here!

Bucee's has taken the convenience store market to another level.  My only isssue with them and most of the others is they have good fresh food offerings but usually no common area to sit and eat.  There is also a regional chain that has it all including areas to eat and includes a fast food outfit like Subway or Burger KIng.  It's LOVES Travel Plazas and their growing leeps and bounds adding 40 new stores this year to a total of 500 Nation wide.

I'm familiar with Loves as well.  I travel all over Texas on my job, and some of the Loves are very good too.    And most of them do have places to sit down.   The other issue with Bucee's is at peak times they are extremely crowded.  If somebody stabs me I wanna have a place to fall down!   Sometimes it's hard to find a gas pump too, even with 80 or 90 of them.

Royal Farms has by far the best fryed chicken ever. Hard to believe it comes from a gas station. Not sure how many locations they have but I see them in the south central Pa area and always stop at the one in York on the way home from Lincoln

There are a lot of Royal Farms stores in Maryland.    They have managed to spread north into York but I doubt they will get much further north with all of the new Sheetz and Rutters mega stores opening.   Unless they sponsor a sprint car....

We were in Baltimore once and looking for a quick bite to eat.    Somebody said "Just go to Royal Farms across the street and get their fried chicken."     It was great advice.
