It never was us against them. It's us and them, we're all human beings living on the planet earth. It's sad that a lot of people are so hardened in their hearts that they can't see that.

No Hardened is watching a chinese tank run over a student who is looking for freedom. Its funny you think were all humans......But will you think the same when China comes looking to get its return in dollars and or land from what we have borrowed.

I don't aim to please.
I aim to hit the target.

If it was never us against them, then why WW1, WW11, Korea, Nam and all those after and before? And those that we know are in the future. Isn't it ALL about world dominance? I'm not saying that all these events were proper or neccessary. However we live in a free country today because we have been the world leader.

I guess you speak for experience when it comes to mail order brides...chalk up another xxx win in PA.

Danny Dietrich was faster.

Montieth tapped the wall and went down for the count. The women must be slacking off. The "multilateral recognition arrangement" better start checking in on the factory a little more often. Or maybe Markus should jaunt over to "his shop" every once in a while.

Why shouldn't they be winning, after all they are copies of chassis that were, developed, designed, quality specified and manufactured in the USA, by companies that support the racers and use Americans in their building process.

Every chassis today is a copy of someone else's designs. People are just twisted that the Chinese can do it too! And lastly, do you really believe that chassis welders and benders at Maxim, or any other chassis companies are American????????

I hear ya and sadly I've smelt the coffee. And yes, I have heard the term "Global Economy". I know that I'm "old school", but, We were at one time for a long time, the leader, now were just one of the players. So, what's next, we become just one of the followers?

That is pretty much the way that it is going. And it will not be getting better any time soon.

Now this statement is completely true. At one time it was an awesome thing to believe in America. But our politicians and our business people have decided that we need to be global. Whether or not that is right is for us to judge, but not for our politicians and business people because they have already made up their mind. Problem is that it is really hard to suck it up and spend more than you have to.......... It no longer pays to support American when they have priced themselves out of the ballpark in almost every market. If I can purchase a foreign item and get the same performance out of it at a much cheaper price, where is the benefit in buying American? I can spend less and have more money for my family. That is much more important to me than the guy next door. And lastly, to your "we live in a free country" statement, that also is completely true. That is why we can purchase xXx components regardless of others beliefs.... And this is not intended as an attack on you, just a little poke at some truth.

Wake up and smell the coffee....Have you not heard the term "Global Economy"? Foriegn cars made in the U. S.A. US cars made in plants around the world. Get over it and get used to it. It`s not us against them anymore.

Have you not heard the term "Global Economy"? Yes, our politicians keep drilling this mantra into the head of everyone trying to convince us that this is good for our economy. It may be good for the companies but it is NOT good for American workers!

It may be a global economy but it has always been and will continue to be them against us! Our ability to design, build better products and market them has resulted in the USA having a higher standard of living. I saw it first hand over 30 years ago when I was selling products to Caterpillar and Komatsu would build an identical machine, with interchangable parts, for far less money because they did not have the R&D development costs.

I will gladly take and enjoy any advantage Americans can have over the rest of the world.

If I know I got a xXx in front of me. It just makes me get up on the wheel and try to beat it with my American made chassis! Enough said!

What happened to the don't ask, don't tell policy? As long as you xXx salesmen keep coming on here littering the board with your propaganda, the rest of us are going to keep on you for being traitors for the $$$. Sorry if the truth hurts. Maxim and J&J aren't on here trying to hock their cars every other post and they have a lot more wins than xXx. xXx has never even had anyone in the Outlaw points.

Todays Sprint cars are really yesterday's technology. All the Motor heights, roll centers, and torsion heights were figured out years ago by guys like Bob Trostle, Gary Stanton and LaVern Nance,Lee Osborne, Karl Kinser and others not mentioned. They are mainly copying what was already done with minor changes.

I'm a Navy veteran, cat crew of an aircraft carrier 1969-1973, but a funny thing happens when a person gets a little older. I think we see the futility of man slaughtering man on account of political and religious intolerance propagated by the ruling class. I wish the human race would grow up and solve it's problems but it seems more bent on wiping itself out. If that makes me a bad guy on a racing message board I wear the title with honor. I can't spout hate against people just because they are different than me. The differences don't make them inhuman or give license to spout hate.

I have an "old" Trostle built sprint car, in converstation with Bob ,I asked him if this car would still be competitive? He chuckled and told me to go measure all the things you mentioned and compare to any new sprint chassis. Amazing how physics does not change with age!

They're just lighter now but the design has basically been the same for decades. That brings up an interesting question that probably hasn't been covered for a few years. When did they go to the four bar cars? I remember Sprint Cars with a leaf spring above the axle when I was a kid and don't recall seeing four bar cars until around the early to mid 60's.

I am sure that you would see most of us go away if you would drop the subject. It seems like these threads always start with "Buy American blah blah blah", or, "xXx blah blah blah". If you wish to think of me as a traitor I am ok with that! There is no hurt involved. In fact I find it amusing, which truthfully is the most probable reason that I defend xXx, because I sure don't own one,,,,,,,,,yet. Are you sure that Maxims are not assembled by foreigners? I mean really, really sure??????? Maxim and J&J aren't on here defending themselves because you are not on here blasting them every day. I bet that if you started in on them like you do xXx, at some point they would, or someone else would defend them. In order for your Traitor statements to have any effect they need to be flung at people who care about your opinion!

Firstly let me say that if you are a Navy Veteran, Thank You. Secondly, you make a really good point. And it is one that I have heard from every member of my family who has served in the armed forces for more than 10 years (And I have 6 of them that were in over 10 years(4 over 20 and 2 of them over 30)). I also hear it from my Nephew Mathew, who just got back from Iraq 6 months ago. With this internet thing in full swing the globe is shrinking and there are more and more people that see things like you do. And one thing that I try never to do is discount the opinions of someone who has earned my respect and attention, so thank you for weighing in on the subject. You make a valid point.
