I respect your opinion. But I think if they took off them funny wing things, there would be more passing and more exciting racing.

sideways- 'pourch' is what you are after many beers in front of the house.

I'm very disapointed that the outlaws will not be at the m.g.c.. When at the gold cup last sept. it was announced and advertised as so.As for paying 30$ to see the locals, think I will pass, unless there are some big names advertised. It sounds like the big boys will be in Texas, so that probably won't happen. I would rather pay 50$ a ticket to see the outlaws, at least you are seeing the best in the business. Mabe I can talk the wife into driving down south, or just stay home and watch a 360 race at marysville before m.g.c. ( just a fans voice)

I would think that a first time fan showing up for a locals-only sprint car show, with a family of 4(wife and 2 kids), might find the ticket prices to be worthy of waiting a couple of weeks for a much better bang for their hard earned buck!

I would take my money to Tulare to see the best sprint car drivers in the world. These locals on here that say they don't need the WoO are the minority. The grandstands & ticket sales are the true measure and the WoO packs the place. If the lack of local track support for the WoO contiunes, they will not come back to NorCal. Then 410's will die off and we will be stuck with the 360's.

I can't beleive the people on here are saying they would rather see Becker, Allard, Larson, Statler, BK ..... instead of Schatz, Kinser, Haud, TK, Joey, Craig D, T-Mac, Sides, J. Meyers ........... We get to see the locals every weekend from April til' October. The WoO road show only comes through in March and September. Some of you people need to get a clue!

I am now starting to see what Tyler Walker meant by his comments of comparing PA vs. NorCal.

aarpfan for the sake of this conversation, not sure that the first 5 of those names could compete with the next set of names you mentioned. Did someone really say USAC haha.... Please...... I will be at Tulare and being the sprint car fan I am, I will be at the Mini.... Just wish things would have unfolded a little differently.....

Sorry I dont use spell check like most of the folks....

The big question in this economy is can a family of 4 afford $150 for tickets plus food and drinks for 2 nights of racing?

Unfortunately I think if gate prices are not lowered I think we will continue to see small fan bases as we did all last year. In these economic times of struggle fans cannot continue to pay $50-60 a week for a family to watch local racing which equals $250 per month.

Maybe I am wrong...just an opinion
