From what I have read Sammy all 5 nights.... I saw a twiiter post where Hodnetts motors were headed to Calif to the 121 car  owners shop to run  winter heat ....

If you are referring to the tweet below, it says nothing about those motors heading to Ca for the 121 car to run winter heat. The video of the 121 car above looks like a brand new Rider engine to me.

" Dec 16

My old truck that has 200k miles on it, worth $8k, hauling rider engines worth $80k. "

Hodnett will make his debut at Cocopah Speedway, where he will drive for California car owner Joe Von Schriltz. Hodnett and the Heffner Racing Enterprises team he drives for in Pennsylvania recently shipped Von Schriltz a car they used during the season as well as a fresh engine from Rider Racing Engines.

So it's a Heffner frame/motor with a 121 on it?

Von schriltz purchased a car used by hodnett this season and bought a brand new motor from rider so hodnett could be in equipment he was familiar and comfortable with. Then it was all shipped out to cali to go to yuma

to indy and beyond!!

As Buzz stated, the 121 car will have a brand new Rider in it, which is not owned by Heffner Racing, but the owner of the 121 car. Any other motor supplied by Heffner Racing could be used as a backup motor. The author of the article took that out of context.
