It's a pretty easy for the Knoxville guys to head over and back. Pretty straight shot most of the way. We will see if any decide to make the trip. But with some IRA regulars, the Outlaws and guys like Loyet and Johnson showing up, it could be a pretty packed show! Cannot wait!

Great turn out at Jacksonville but some cars will be lost for the Wilmot show as guys like Bell and Clauson will be running the Hut 100 that night. Also got word that Brady Bacon will be a crew chief for a midget at the 100. So that is 3 less guys. However, not one IRA guy at Jacksonville. So if some of the MOWA guys head up and some IRA guys show up, we could be looking at a massive car count Friday night!

I bet Dollansky, McCarl and Dobmeir. Tatnell maybe.

Terry only has 1 motor so he won't be at Wilmot.

Chance of rain tonight around 9 through the early morning hours. The rest of the day is supposed to be clearing after 8AM. The problem Wilmot has at times is being able to get haulers in the pits. The track has been raceable but no access to the pits. If they could fix that, they wouldn't lose so many races. Lets call in the jet driers if needed...lol

Loyet was supposed to be coming. But they wrecked the car last night and sounded like he was holding off for tomorrow and hitting Knoxville Saturday. Just saw the Hut 100 is cancelled. So might possibly pick up Bell, Clauson and Brady Bacon now

Looking at google earth, the place looks like an old goat track! lol. Obviously a very old photo. What's the walk like around to the pits from the stands? I usually spend the night in the pits at Beaver Dam, but looks like very little in the way of stands in the pits at this joint.
Looking forward to trying a new track out tonight!

Pit seating is very limited. They have several 6 row high bleachers but if you are not in the top rows you can't see over the people standing along the fence line. There is not an easy way to get from the pits to the grandstands.

The stands in the pits leave a lot to be desired. They are small, not high at all. I for one, cannot believe they haven't done something about that. It may enhance the back gate for the weekly shows. If you like the stands at the Dam, you will HATE the stands at Wilmot. The walk is not that awful.

The picture is only a year old on Google Earth. If you zoom on tthe track the top right is a white building, that is where the pit entrance is, and the stands entrance is straight below that, look for 4 buildings, the smaller of the 4 is the Grandstands ticket booth. Just some info to try to answer your questions. Hope this helps

Doubt you'll see more than 1 or 2 Knoxville cars personally (most of the Knoxville Regulars have jobs M-F and some M-S. Hard to make a tow to WI when you're at work.
I'd say Dollansky and I. Madsen is the best bets (Brown tweeted that he's at a Casey's with his show car in Grain Valley, MO earlier today, doubt he'd have put that many miles on the Hauler after running JAX on Wednesday to go back).

Brown's plan was to run the ASCS race at Lakeside last night before it got cancelled, Wilmot tonight, and Knoxville tomorrow. I bet he shows at Wilmot tonight.

Brown's not gonna be there. Casey's deal in Grain Valley today, only running K-ville tomorrow.

33 cars, about 12-15 are Wilmot and IRA regulars.
