I am a big Larson fan, but the sprint car fans on this board need to take the blinders off. Yes, Kyle spun out after cutting a tire and hitting the wall. Are you forgetting him trying to move the wall on his own which caused him to cut the tire down? He even said in his interview that his struggles were of his own doing.
Yes Dillon got loose and wrecked some cars, the second time his teammate pretty much stopped in front of him causing the second "Dillon Wreck."
Anybody notice Harvick? He wrecked more cars than anybody. Why does he get a pass? Oh thats right, he didnt wreck our beloved golden child. No need to talk about what a non-driving POS he is. Nobody is complaining howw his daddy bought him his first nascar rides.
Remember when a young up and comer wrecked a contender for the Truck Championship in the final race? Everyone here claimed good hard racing, the young kid deserved some slack. So when Larson wrecked a Dillon, ruining his chance for a championship, it is hard racing. But if a Dillon wrecks Larson, who is a lap down and has a damaged car, its just a spoiled rich kid who doesnt deserve to be there. I know I shouldnt expect much on here, but please try to use your brain before you post.
Larson is a great racecar driver, hopefully Target Chip can give him the resources needed to succeed.

Yeah, some do need to lighten up regarding Larson. But you said it. He cut a tire and scraped the wall. This has happened to everyone on the track before.
And Dillon's teammate did not pretty much stop in front of Dillon to cause the second Dillon wreck. Not impressed with Dillon in the race. And, he got the pole, okay. He was able to keep the car straight and has some good ponies under the hood in a slick car. Also, Harvick triggered the last lap wreck only, which, these days almost is expected during a plate race. The last quarter or more of the race was a demo derby.
Now, on to supposedly wrecking a contender for the Truck Championship. I don't know what race you were watching but the race I saw is Dillon coming all the way down the track to block Larson in a faster truck. Tried to block him all the way on to the apron before they touched and both wrecked. Now, is everyone just supposed to get off the track for a championship contender when they pull the blocking bullshit? That wreck was entirely the fault of Dillon as were the two wrecks on Sunday that he triggered. And there will be more coming.
So, please remove your brain from "Park" as well when posting on here. If not, you will be eaten alive on this board.

Daytona is over. Now the real racing begins. Let's see where these boys end up after a few weeks on tracks where the driver has to do more than just floor it and turn left. I say the 42 will get rookie of the tear over dillweed.
I tell it like I see it.

I tought this was a midget, sprint car, dirt champ car forum.
Dill wood has never drove a sprint car,or any of these three type cars, and why hoot and haller about latemodels on here who cares take it to the late model forums.
Larson has made his mark in all three open wheel dirt dIvision's (MIDGET,SPRINT,DIRT CHAMP CAR),and that is what win's on this board.
Comparing some rich kid who has had everything handed to him to a true driving to the top ranks by WINNING races from an average family kid is comparing apples to bannana's.Not even close to the same.
NAPCAR goon's go bore the people on another site where everybody talks stock car shop. They will love you for it.
This is just troll BS....

At this time of year, racing is racing. There isn't enough Sprint, Midget news to fulfill our daily need, so.......I also sort of remember some people saying that Kyle Larson has had nothing but rich folks buying all his rides too, so which is it? Don't like the thread, don't click on it.......Simple

I think what is meant is that Larson earned all those good rides instead of buying into them... He didn't buy his way into the Kunz midgets, the Hoffman sprint car, the Staddlehoffer sprint car, the Silva sprint car etc...
Real race cars don't have fenders...

Larson 20th
The "overated" Queen...36th.
I would consider this his first "test" as he is now officially in Cup and realizes it counts. (Daytona and their silly "plate rule" is to racing like Rosie is to a beauty queen!)
He stayed out of trouble and stayed on the lead lap so I think he earned a solid "B" for his efforts today.
On to Vegas...I can hardly wait to get there Tuesday and take in two nights of REAL racing!!!!
I LEARNED ESP FROM MY MOM
"PUT YOUR SWEATER ON: DON'T YOU THINK I KNOW WHEN
YOU'RE COLD?"

Completely agree, it is a shame that taxi cab racing is where the money is at.
