Kelly is a cousin.  He won his only W of O race filling in for Mark K. when Mark was in Oregon for a truck race.  It was in Southern MO.  I was there that night but forget the name of the track like I do a lot of other things these days, lol.  I know this track used to run a big Late Model race called the Show-Me 100 or something like that....

So if he is a cousin to both Steve and Mark there is 3 Kinser families that won races in Karls cars, correct?

Stevie Kinser told a friend of mine that she was more closely related to Kelly on her mother's side than on her father's.  Those family trees in southern Indiana are pretty well intertwined.  I think Open Wheel did an article on the Kinser families several years back.

Started on pole almost NO passing, I know who he is dumbass! Track was heavy, do you know ANYTHING about sprint car racing???

Kind of quiet over there after everybody else has posted. Track was not heavy like you said it was. So he started on the front row. What percentage of WoO main even winners do? He got himself in that position by qualifying 7th, winning his heat, and winning the dash. He also won the feature by over 4 seconds even after a couple restarts!! Again, congrats to Ian on doing something many sprint car drivers only dream of doing and that is winning a WoO event!!

Ian ended up finishing 4.193 seconds ahead of Pittman. He also had the fasted lap time of anyone in the feature with a 12.747 lap, Pittman was the next best with a 13.327. That to me puts a very nice exclamation point on the win and says that the guy with the fastest car there won.

To anyone who is enough of a dick to down play his win, sign your name on your post so we can see how many wins you have with the Outlaws, or in any series or race for that matter.  I say good for Ian and his team and Congratulations

hello i would like to downplay ians win at deer creek.  sincerely donny schatz .
