filtair, I've never tried it. I am basing it on what happens when I click on the USAC stream. It is constantly buffering. Maybe some weekend I'll give it a try. It does appear they are doing their best to make customers happy.

If you can pull 1.5 megs you should be OK since DV usually streams at under 1M ... more like 800K-ish - at least that's what they clocked in at back when they were streaming with WMP and I could check "stats" - now they're using Turn2 Media's servers and the video player is Flash-based and "stats" isn't available.
I'm wondering if they weren't getting hacked somehow the other night because when the dwarf cars were running it was pretty steady with just a couple of brief bufferages -- then as soon as the sprint races started BAM! it was constant buffer-city. Even though their site is secure - there's ways a scriptkiddie could attack most any site -- heck even the Pentagon wasn't safe from Gary McKiinon.

I'm not freaking out. 70 for the whole year is a good deal. one or two nights of bad connectivity aren't a surprise to me. they mentioned radio interference being an issue that night. I imagine logistically, it's a lot harder than we all like to pretend it is, to broadcast stuff in remote areas for a boatload of angry white people, living in equally remote locations.

the dirtvision broadcast from stockton was awesome but chico was a big letdown... hope that doesnt happen again too many times. but 70 bucks for the whole year is awesome. although we have no idea how many races they will do!? Wish there was a set schedule for the whole year we could see.
So what is this jackslash like? saw its 60 bucks a year but nothing live? And prolly not near as many outlaw races? Looks maybe better quality picture though?

Jackslash (aka Sean Buckley) does a lot of Indiana non-wing recaps and apparently has a deal with WoO this year to show their highlights among other sprint racing on his membership-based site. He also did the "Follow the Corn" features based on the IOW scene and does great work. Seem to recall him recently announcing a deal for a weekly Indiana-racing-based show recently - maybe on MAV TV? Quality is indeed excellent as it is recorded/produced and then streamed later.
