Who really cares who started what. First off i'm a car owner and have been involved in racing all my life as in day one. I want and love the passion that some drivers have for this sport. But what i will not put up with is a driver that has a need to go out and abuse (maybe not the right word) my eguipment in a way that could and at times has had night or year ending consequences. An investment of 40 to 60 thousand dollars is serious coin. The racing alone takes it's toll on the equipment. Doing stupid stuff like that tells me that as a car owner that you got no respect for me or the hard work that goes into putting a car on the track so a driver can go out and do what he loves to do. It my look cool, but for me i think it's stupid and lacks a certain amount or respect for the person paying the bill. Direct your passion in a different way. There vare plenty. Thats my rant. You can beat me up all you want. I'll never tolerate a driver doing something determintal to my equipment.

Very impressive no matter who you are or who did it Larson is definitely a wheel man but maybe Kevin just wanted to show em that not just Kyle is capable of the donuts with no steering wheel. But lets all remember theres a photo of Jack Hewitt at speed back in the day going down the straight away with the wheel in his left hand track unknown for a photo op Now i know others may of done that accidentally with the wheel coming off in there hands but to do that purposely and then quickly clip the wheel back on in a 410 to make the turn is right up there in my book.

While Donuts may be viewed by some as tearing up equipment, It also brings fans to their feet and enjoy a show but, people have forgotten Racing is a form of entertainment. No Fans=no winnings money. I would hate for someone to drive for you sir. This is just a small part in why fan attendance is down in our beloved sport. Oh Yeah and when your driver wins Night after night in some of the biggest races that have the biggest purses. I don't think Keith Kunz is very upset after all Kyle Wins in his cars alot not a little. Also Sounds to me like you have a hard time keeping up on your motors... and general costs Tires ect. if you cannot afford it don't race. I do Understand the cost.

Seriously, who gives a fuck. My god, you guys are all over Larson no matter what he does! If he says his favorite place to eat is Taco Bell I bet most of you would say the same thing. The guy is a great racer, I hope he goes far, but most of you are stalker types when it comes to him.

Not sure where you got anything from his post meaning he has a tough time keeping up on motors and general costs. He post is merely about his views on respect for equipment and the time it takes to build cars. Its his opinion, as a car owner, i'm sure other owners might agree with. Whereas, the casual fan think its cool. There is the difference between someone who pays the bills and someone who sits in the stands.

ironically upon watching KS celebration (hoseheads main page) I believe I heard him say "I couldnt get the wheel back on" shortly there after Sammy was discribing maybe 2nd position and his (KS) lead shortly before the checkers, Just my observation , honestly its just two competitors having fun, no harm in a little showboat rivalry, why not! thats what fans like to see..

The doughnuts, burnouts, have been overdone, what happened to the victory lap with the checkered flag or givin the trophy queen a great big kiss.most of the trophy queens are hotttttt these days,i have also seen a car run a whole race without any damage until the celebration, money won is sweet, but having to spend money because of some whacky celebration with the winning car doesnt make much sense too me,its disrepectful to me,u dont see very many low dollar teams doing those things.

Ok I see I thought Larson was the originator of them. Good to know, I saw Kyle do them in a Stock Car I thought to myself he brought donuts to a whole other level.

Didn't Hewitt take his steering wheel off and show it to the driver he was passing coming out of turn 4 at Terre Haute one time. If you ask me, thats a lot more impressive that doing donuts without a steering wheel.
Either way, both are cool and I hope to one day do it after winning a feature....

Lets not forget how much better Larson's looked.. Kevin only did it to make a statement to Larson and his fans. Very sloppy compared to Kyle's...
