I believe at the Chili bowl there is no cubic inch limit, and you are allowed to run electronic fuel injection.

Apparently Smoke said something in an interview here this week that his car could run anywhere in the country, but their (referring to the Swindells) cars could only run at the Chili Bowl. I know the Chili Bowl is unsanctioned & all and everyone has an opportunity to do whatever they want essentially with their cars & spend what they want, but if they really have done something with their engines that's giving them that much of an advantage, what's the general thought on that? Kevin was running laps .3 - .6 per lap faster than Yeley & Coons last night when both had clear tracks ahead of them. Its turning the Chili Bowl into an exhibition as someone near me put it. I like the Swindells & have no axe to grind, but just an observation on the competitiveness of the races.

Hey guys, it is the weight of the chassis. Swindells cars have light weight special frames that would be to dangerous to run at larger tracks. Buy the way the Chili Bowl IS NOT a quarter mile track. I say more like a 1/6 mile. Anyone who ever went to school knows that a football field will fit in a 1/4 mile trace with about 30 yards more at each end past goal line.

I dont think it’s luck.....it’s 1 of 2 things, i caught a good one near 30 years ago or neither of us can remember past two years anymore. But more than likely it’s a combination of the two! Lol

If Swindells have an advantage, why has it been the Larson/ Bell show lately?
I realize that this was started a few years ago....

You hit on it more than anything I just saw someone built a chassis for the Chili Bowl that weighed in at just 100lb also with the square tail tank you move the fuel weight more towards the center of the car Glen Murra
