Does anyone know of the address or a website for the Zink motorsports museum? I have done a couple of Google searches and haven't been able to find much on it. Any information would be a huge help!

@34, If it was, in fact carbon monoxide poisoning, the health department would have shut it down years ago. The air quality is monitored frequently and is within acceptable levels. Maybe you have a low tolerance for the fumes or perhaps it's the dust or perhaps you are just wanting to be negative. So, it's just first timers that get sick? The reason they don't open doors during races is the noise emitted into the surrounding neighbourhoods. Between races or other breaks, if the air quality warrants, they do open the doors. I don't recall the exact figures, but about 6-8 years ago they spend millions of dollars for huge industrial exhaust fans to help with air quality and it works reasonably well.

For all you newcomers, don't let this clown discourage you from coming, you are in for the racing treat of your life!

For an indoor show it is ridiculous that they dont blow some more fresh air into the place. With warmer temps MAYBE they will. It does get pretty foggy and full of the silent killer but not enough to knock you out. You will all be fine may leave with some eyes burning a bit but its a good show for an indoor race if thats watch you like.

All I said was grab a couple masks if your not sure how fumes will effect ya (newcomers). Its different for every person in the building even if it was perfectly ventilated. I plan on being there the only day I can make it this year and would be perfectly happy to be able to go all week. A 5 1/2 hour drive one way there and back with nearly 12 hours of racing between should tell what I think of the racing itself... Everyone go and enjoy, wish I could attend more!
