Michael, you are probably right on this as the video doesn't lie. But there were other questionable calls on the track Saturday night, and this call was actually one that drew the least vocalness from me, surprisingly enough. I just found this an awesome post to vote for Raymond. There are times when the caution flag should fly that it doesn't for more than a lap, causing destroyed or damaged cars that shouldn't be, creating dangerous situations and the like. That is actually the big beef that I have with the flagman. I wonder how many cars have been destroyed because of failure to turn on the caution light. It bugs me as a racer that the flagman can be staring at an incident as the field bears down on it and will not throw the caution flag.

Anyone who has been to Lawton speedway in the past several years know that Lawton has had the rule on yellows in effect for a while now. As far as letting the drivers keep running when someone is stopped, about 90% of the time the drivers can re-fire there cars and choose to sit there in hope for a caution so they can rejoin the field on the same lap. There are some that cannot re-fire and do fall into a dangerous situation. Been there! Fact is everyone that has been racing there knows the rule, or at least has heard of it! Traci Cox

How do you know what the flagman is staring at? And Lawton must not be to bad because you keep coming, Wither your racing or being a grandstander or walking the pits there still getting that money.....The flagman can't see everything. So once again untill you have been in the flagmans shoe's don't be so quick to judge...

I'm pretty sure If you would like the job as flagman next year they just might let ya do it.( But hey you gotta ask) If so let me know so I can get on here and tell you how great of a job your doing!!!!!!!!! Can't wait.

Traci, this rule is not posted anywhere, nor announced every night so there are going to people who are not aware of this rule. I understand all the folks saying a rule is a rule but what kind of irks me is the insinuation that whomever is adversely impacted by it should just get over it. My argument on here has never been that this is not a rule. I have been racing at a place where the rule is 2 unassisted yellows you are off so my beef was that I did not cause the caution. But, I was certainly set straight on this rule and will pay the price for my act of retardation. What I am trying to stress is that we as a group, need to ask for a change to this rule. It is an incredible injustice to a competitor in this situation. Imagine if this happened to the 012 or Tyler, these two battling for the championship. I would be hard pressed to think that you or anyone associated with these two drivers would be on here saying, "a rule is a rule and anyone who has been around here knows it." I liken it to kicking a defensive lineman out of a game because he is being held too much; throwing a batter out of the game because he got hit by a pitch twice; ejecting a basketball player because he is getting fouled too much. The penalty goes to the players that create the problems, not the ones who victums of the problems.

Looks like they made a bad call on black flagging you, It happens at every race track at some point or another, you just happen to be the one that got the bad call this week, it may be me next week but you just have to let it go. If it becomes an every week deal for one car then its time to go race somewhere else.

Chris I have complained about the rule as well as many other racers , to many to even start naming, for years. I feel that some of the, stinkin thinkin, is that for every car that is out of the feature it is that much sooner the race might be over , less cars less chance for a possible caution. With this rule it gives some racers, who would stop to save running over another car to not tear up their or the other guys stuff, the mentalty of if I stop that is strike 1 so I better just drive thru them so I am not in the caution. It aint right but that is the way it is, in all actuality by stopping less tore up stuff and maybe it won't take 10 min to get the cars off the track after the front ends of these very fragile cars are torn up and won't move. Of course this might make sense so forget any chance of changing something that could possibly help speed up the race.

I could not have said it any better. Hey maybe you could do me a favor... there is a big field over in front of our shop. I don't have a whole lot to do this week and was thinking I could get some practice keeping my car running in the event of an accident. How about you bring your car over and we can race around in that field. You can spin me out and I can get some practice getting on the clutch and grabbing low gear. Maybe if I can get better at this, I wouldn't stall so much and this problem might not exist! I can assure you, if someone is in my way next time and I'm still running, we are gonna trade some paint.

I might take you up on that, then I could check to see if my car is fixed. HA HA

Thanks for the pick but I will not be racing this saturday as I will be serving out my sentence. I predict the 77 car will win though...
