I hope they try to get the race in. I have two friends flying in from Indiana and we have a motorhome rented and ready to go. They should be able to get either Fri. or Sat. night in. If it rains one night, they can run Sunday afternoon.

The long range forecast does not look much better. I hope that it dries up before the Mini Gold Cup. Each motel has its own policy about canceling. Best to call and check. The Best Western in Tulare requires that you cancel 40 hours prior.

I'm thinking about the financial health of the travelling racers......they need a payday and this would be three consecutive rain-outs. Could Faria run this thing Monday/Tuesday (weather permitting) before they move on to Manzy? Watsonville had the WoO for several years mid week and they had good crowds. It's about $2K in diesel to get here from a rained-out Mississipi
