Don't let your hatred towards one person discredit a entire Team. There's not a cheating bone in the owners entire body.....trust me on that.

And you expect me and some others to believe that. Maybe not owner but mechanic has been around long enought to know how and would trust the driver at all either!

Right on the money. Barshinger isn't wrong at all about the lack of tech in PA. The tracks don't look real hard because they don't want to find anything. They would rather look the other way than be forced to suspend teams that put asses in the seats. Talk to anyone in the know, and they'll all but admit it. BUT if he's barking up the tree I think he's barking at, he couldn't be more wrong. Maybe his car would've been faster if he'd realized that he isn't a mechanic and stood back and left the people who do know how to set up a car, do their thing. I hate to see him go. Losing any car sucks, but his accusation here is total and complete bullshit.

Tire doping is not that big of a issue today. You get a slick track and even with the slightest amount of tire prep. The tire won't last. Hoosier is making a good tire, air pressure and wheel speed. Methanol, that's a whole different story, a 55 gallon barrel can be a lot more than you think.

Being a car owner can be frustrating and expensive. The glory goes to the driver first, the crew second, and owner last. Thats why there are less owners every year. I know there are some that manage to survive and show a profit but many teams rely on sponsorship to survive or use it as a business deduction.Guys like Brian Brown are the exception of owning and driving but has been one ofthe better at securing sponsorship. Guys lke Tony and Kasey have people wanting to help them.

Quote from Barshinger: None of the tracks follow up on any inspections. They don't check tires for softening, don't check fuel, along with other things. I have been saying this for the last 4 years about a certain team that runs part time. There is no way they are legal, TC, tire doping, etc.

Oh, Jeez. That team has had a lot of success against the Outlaws and the ASCoC over the past several years. So you are trying to make the case that traveling organizations are also allowing a local team to cheat their way to big money wins?

You don't know me and I don't know you so, I do not expect you to believe me. The owner is the mechanic on that car. He's the one out in the shop every night after dinner working and maintaining it. He doesn't get near the credit he deserves. Without him that car would never even sniff victory lane. Nothing illegal would ever be done to it, I can assure you that, it's just a good combination of everything that works for them.

That's laughable. If it's true that they don't check tires, fuel, TC and "other things", then it's HIGHLY unlikely that only one part time team is the only team that's breaking the rules. Easy to throw out blind accusations out with no proof about a team and driver you hate though. You must be part of Trump's re-election team.
On a side note, I did hear an interesting story about the Selinsgrove speedweek show. Someone that was at the scales said that the 91 was not the only car that came in underweight. There was another car that was under too but the SW officials let it slide. No it was not the 69k.
