think you need a new source...driver and crew chief both wrong
|
Actually it appears Zearfross & Bayston are driving for Grove. 2 car operation?
Fully injected states Zearfross driving Priemier Motorsport and Pete Grove with Shane Bowers as crew chief, Speedsport released Bayston driving the 70 with Andy Potter as crew cheif and Wes Counts a Nashville business man being a major partner to the team.
Could be a good lineup shaping up for the All Stars. Eliason, Bayston, and Zearfross. Be interesting to see who else runs

Paul McMahon said on Twitter the plan is to run the all-stars with the buch 13 again. Hopefully Kemenah can find a ride, and that Dave Blaney isn’t retiring.
Also Greg Wilson I know is cutting back from the outlaws, maybe he’ll return?

So what is the story with Zearfoss and Bayston?
I just read two press releases and both say driving for Pete Grove. And neither press release reference the other driver. I would think that would be something a reporter would ask about when two major press releases are issued on the same day and name the same guy owning both cars. Plus not one reference to the former driver Dave Blaney.
Maybe Zearfoss is not really driving for Grove just combining teams. Just as he did with Destiny even though it was put out he was driving for their team.

I know Wilson released that Hercelues tire resigned for 3years. I think it would be another good driver for the All Stars and someone who could win races. I would anticipate seeing him at a good bit of shows whether he runs the full schedule or not.

I thought Kraig Kinser said at the WoO banquet he was dropping off the Outlaw tour and there was a chance he might return to the All-Stars.

Sounds like Brock Zearfoss, Spencer Bayston, Cory Eliason, and Paul McMahon are all going to run the entire All-Star tour. Would be sweet if Reutzal, Greg Wilson, and Kraig Kinser joined, as well, guess we will see.

Yup, and it’ll be interesting to see if some of the other cars return (Conley, Spithaler, Esh). I’m sure they’re gonna want around 10 cars at least following the whole tour

His source was actually spot on. Looks like the ASCoC are going to be loaded with talent once again. Central PA meanwhile loses yet another one of it's best drivers. I hate to admit it but Central PA is declining quickly in both quality and quantity. It's very alarming when you look at what we've lost vs. what we've gained in the past decade.

So, if I were to guess, this will be similar to what Brock did with Destiny this year. Id guess that theyre going to use Brock's equipment and his shop, his rig, and use his cars with some of his sponosors, while getting some sponsors, the number and financial support from Grove being that the article said "partners with". While Bayston will have what would be considered the "true Premier Motorsports" car. But I am not sure.

Yep i was off on that one. Brock will be in the 70, Bayston is the one with the partnership type deal between the two parties.

Do you need me to get the real facts? Just kidding, don’t know the Zearfoss side and hope all works well for all involved.

Any news on Jac Haudenschild and the #3 team? Saw someone post they were working on getting some new chassis together. Didn't know if they planned on trying to run the All-Star Tour again.

Haudenschild Racing posted on facebook that they were planning on announcing their 2019 plans soon. What that definition of soon is I don't know.

I think teams are more tempted to race with the Allstars versus the Outlaws because of the driving distance and higher chance of winning with the All stars. The Outlaws start in Feb in Florida, go to California in March, and then back to the East coast. Whereas, the All stars mainly race in the Ohio/Indiana/ PA area. As long as Donny Schatz is still racing with the WoO he us a hard guy to win against!
Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!

Coldren Motorsports posted they are trying to get full funding to run the full All-Star tour this year. Not sure if Gerard McIntyre will still be the driver in 2019, but looks like they are interested in the deal as well.
