Last 2 Labor day shows been GREAT!! Rather see racing than high speed freight train. Could care less about track times.

Last night was a little too fast....but you can't help mother nature.  I would rather see that than a slip and slide = boring racing with little to no excitement....Labor Day is the slip and slide.   Drivers need to feel confortable in order to make daring/exciting moves.  Who cares about the heats I know I don't say in a year did you see that heat from such and such a track....no I say after the fact that was a great feature of boring feature.....the feature is when your track should be at it's best like the first race of the fair this year.  It should never be at it's best during time trials or the heats.

Lets see the passing the night before the 50.

Brock - Started 11th finished 4th +7 spots

Lucas - Started 19th finished 6 +13 spots

Paul - Started 20th finished 8th +12 spots

Aaron - Started 23rd finished 9th +14 spots

Carson - Started 22nd finished 11th +11 spots

Mike - Started 25th finished 15th +10 spots

That is 6 drivers that improved a lot during the feature 5 of them improved double digits.

Truth hurts....doesn't it.  And you still can't handle the truth. Thanks for the well wishes....you are a real gem...if you don't have the facts on your side attack the person.

Like I said... congrats Logan!!! Very well earned!!!

Truth hurts? How many races did Wagner run outside of Port? A little ingenious to make fun of one driver for something when the driver you’re praising was and even worse offender.

Biggest issue with the weather is the growing chance of early afternoon showers. Might not be able to start early enough to be done by 9 and a greater chance of even light ran later washing out the track. Plus mountains, because why not? lol

What's that got to do with him winning the championship?  They announced at the beginning of the year they were running Port only.  Ran a few races with his own very low funded 7w.

He CHOSE to go to Port every week...that was the deal with him and John.  Hodnett decided to go to the 360 Nationals one night.  With all the money they have in the 27 they should run and hide everyweek towards what the other owners put into their cars.  He has what 4 wins in central PA in the 410 this year.  That is not good considering how good that team should and could be.  They have been playing catch-up over the last couple of years....I wonder when the 27 started going downhill?  I bet it was the same time when the 69K got a new driver.

I would expect somekind of personel change with the 27 for next year.  I don't think it will be the driver but possibly the crew chef/mechanic.  Bring back lethal Lee?

They were and had been running Schnee's before switching to Eagle's.  Don't believe Zemco ever ran XXX's.

Hodnett made about 25k the week of the 410 nationals, which was probably helped by the fact that he ran the 360 nationals. If not for some seriously awful luck last night, he would have easily won the title.

Im sure they’re okay with their decisions.

Good to see they moved the time up

With all the dicussion about the championship what was their reasoning for not making the 50 a point race if I remember correctly last year the 50 was a point race and it cost Cisney the championship.

Congrats Logan!!

I guess if you run their all year and don't win the points it would have to be disappointing!! Oh well maybe next year Greg.  Keep running from the big races at other Saturday night tracks.  It paid off this year for you.

Greg skipped a Port show to run the 360 nationals, don't know why when they wouldn't skip any for big races at local tracks but anyway.... Speaking of Logan, it's kind of sad that the legendary Zemco car has become a 1 track homer but congrats. They got it done when the big dog was off the porch and then had misfortune because he was fast enough to make the dash. It also makes no sense to me that last night was the last points race? What about tonight? Isn't there a race tonight? I could have swore there was(weather permitting).

Dylan Cisney was leading the points until the closing laps of the 50 itself last year and Brock Zearfoss passed one car right at the end which won him the title and it made an otherwise boring race pretty exciting. Not sure why they did it. If you're not going to make the 50 a points race, why hand out points at any of the fair races? Makes no sense.

They blamed everything and switched almost everything and they still are not any faster  The only difference is the when Lance started beating them they were trying to get faster and it backfired on them.  It was not the chassis somewhere they lost there setups.  The frame is a hunk of metal.....I am pretty sure they are smarter than a hunk of metal.

If the race gets rained out, what would be the rain date assuming tomorrow is a wash too?

Still on rain delay.... doesn't look good

Maybe they're holding out for a late late show for lack of makeup date?

I guess I made the right call

They had one thing in mind today and that was getting enough of a window to make an attempt to get the show in and fill the fair with racefans who would spend a bunch of money on food and stuff. They knew at 1:00 like everyone else that they had no chance of getting this show in. Mission accomplished

I sat under the stands with some beer and fair food. Never bought a ticket as I kept watching the radar.

It sucks that weather has been the way it has all damn year.

Yeah it does suck. We were there too. I left way late only after they announced that cars would hit the track within the hour. Got there for warm ups and it was already raining. No hope on a day like today and I have zero reason to think that tomorrow will be any different.

"It sucks that weather has been the way it has all damn year."

No kidding. Especially since my plan has been to move East from sunny Colorado frown
