I have been a speedway nut all my life as my Dad raced supermodifieds/sprints in the early to mid 70's. It's time to hit the clay myself now I'm nearing 40. 360 class here in Australia is where I'm heading as I don't have a budget for 410's. So what are the differences and the easier chassis to setup for a novice? I've read where some guys have chased their tails with brand 'a' switched to brand 'b' and returned to some success. 88-87-86/40, reverse arm and many other terms bandied about and I understand what they mean just don't know how they affect the way the car may handle. Most stuff down here is 1/4ml or so. Thanks in advance for any advice to get me on the right track. Joe

In theory the 86 inch car would be best on short tracks, but I do not think it is set in stone as a chassis mfg told be that there is all different chassis WB winning at tracks. I would say do not get a reverse arm car. A 39 in or 40 inch engine mount. I would say ask some drivers and car owners who run good. I wish I could tell you we won a bunch of races and to take my advise, but we have won a few.
