I'm going to be up from TX to Rochester, MN this June for a week for a wedding. Friday and Saturday nights are occupied with grooms dinner and wedding only leaving Sunday night for some racing. Does anyone know of any tracks that run sprints on Sundays up there? Deer Creek is only Saturdays, Kasson doesn't have sprints...anyone know when Steele County Speedway runs or is that only during the county fair as I noticed the Allens from Arlington raceway run that event?
Thinking about it, the groom's dinner shouldn't run too late that if something is pretty close to Rochester even Friday night would work as we would just miss hot laps some of the early heat races.
Would greatly appreciate any help from some folks from the motherland(I'm original from MN and in TX I refer to it as the motherland).

Depending on the week you might want to check the UMSS website for their schedule. Otherwise from Rochester to Jackson would probably be your best bet for a Saturday night show, straight down I-90, It takes about 2 hrs to get there from Roch depending on just how fast you drive the interstate,,
Roch to Arlington is about 2 hours also but is a lot of 2 lane roads. The only Sunday sprint car racing would be over in Redwood Falls, MN about 3 hours from Rochester.
Steele County Fairgrounds is only running during the fair this year unless they can find a promoter that would be willing to put a few shows in. So if you want to make the commute from Texas, you too can be a sprint car promoter! LOL
