I really wanted to see Schatz win last night from the pole. Not because I'm a Schatz fan. I was just looking forward to the "flip" from Posse fans on Facebook who Friday night thought Stutt's win from the front row was a fierce battle, and Schatz was "handed" a win from the front row. Damn it. Oh well.

I'm a Pa guy and a lot of us actually pull for Donny now it's kinda how it was for Kinser after a while the respect is earned.

There are literally hundreds of threads going on sprint car groups on Facebook. I don't need to find any far-fetched claims. Plenty of threads and posts bashing the Outlaws after the Stutts win. Mostly in good fun.
And relax---I'm from Northwest IL---all I get to do is be jealous that others in this country have a local interest to root for. We have nothing.
List of all of the famous sprint car drivers of my generation from Northwest Illinois:
(That's all I could think of---Kevin Olson was from Northcentral IL so he doesn't count)

When I got into sprint car racing, it was past the middle of Kinser's career, so I didn't have quite the hatred for Kinser that others did. I was always mesmerized by he and the 11 car. Schatz on the other hand, I booed the crap out of him for most of his career. Over the past few years, like you, I've grown to respect him and his driving style a ton! I was in attendance for all of his Knoxville Nationals wins. I booed him 9 out of the 11. The 2 times I cheered him were the year he won from the B, and his last win in 2022. Funny thing is, I didn't hear a single boo in the crowd when he won it in 2022. Not sure if it was out of respect for him just losing his father, or if the entire crowd was giving him what they thought was a final ovation at the Nationals.
If it was the latter, he made the "not so fast" statement in 2024......................

Too bad that last caution had to happen. Marks was coming and they were about to hit lapped traffic. Track was pretty heavy. The track at the end of the feature should have been how it was at the start, for the best racing. The Grove seems to prepare the track for WOO shows as if they are going to get 50 plus cars. That doesn't happen anymore. I wouldn't say it was bad but they are missing it by a little bit (on the wet side).

I can't disagree but then again, on Friday night, TJ used 3 different lanes to win that race and on Saturday, David and Donny used 3 lanes to battle for the lead. Good racing both nights. Sometimes I think we have it so good in PA that it has made us a little too picky lol
