He ran first or second most of the night and held off a couple young dirt late model guys to win in the NASCAR trucks at Eldora.  Up against that little cushion.

There was alot more yellow laps than I'd like to see, but I don't know how you could say it was boring. If that was boring then every other nascar race all year is 10x as boring. But yeah instead of 150 laps they could just do 100 green only count maybe that would be better?

What did it pay to win, curious?  We had coverage up here in Canada all day long almost, I watched some but 80 mph around the Big E is hardly exciting....

They need to run Knoxville. At there would be more than one lane racing

Great racing, threw the yellow for spinning cars a little to much and giving 4 or 5 laps to line up for restarts way to much. Entertaining race otherwise.

Admit it,  you did not watch the NASCAR truck race last night,  did you?

If you did,  how in the heck can you call that one lane racing?    They were 4 and 5 wide most of the time, with some drivers being on both the giving and recieving end of a slide job at the same time!   Sure they were 3-4 seconds a lap slower, but it was still very good racing.

I love Knoxville,  but I think the trucks need the banking at Eldora to make a good race.....Knoxville would most likely be huggy pole with the heavy weight, type of suspension and tires that the trucks run.

Were they slow? Yes, Was it entertaining? Hell Yes....  I thought it was great. I wish Larson would have been there.

I guess my biggest beef with the show was all of the Attention given to the other drivers, Specifically Pierce. I mean Bell Commanded that whole race pretty much but to me it seemed like all I heard them talk about was how much faster Pierce was, how this could be his biggest win, How perfect his night was and if he wins he will have scored a perfect night, ect.. ect.. Blah Blah Blah....  Mean while there's Christopher Bell out there kicking everyones Arses pretty much the whole race and you just never heard his name a lot. Hell they even interviewed Pierce before they did Bell.  Maybe it's just me but I don't follow either driver at all, it's just how I heard it.

They gave more pre-race attention to Pierce because he was on the pole.  I was thinking Pierce was just stalking Bell and waiting to pull a big time slider at the end but he hurt his truck so that never happened.

I had a couple late model friends text me asking who Christopher Bell was.

Regardless, I liked seeing young dirt talent sweep the first 3 spots.

Sure wish they could get the Nextell or Sprint Cup to concede to a couple of Dirt Track Point races per year. I might start watching a little NASCAR.

Bulls**t, keep those glorified street stocks away from Knoxville. Don't need any NASCRAP stuff there. We would probably lose a night of sprint car racing (real racing) to make room for that junk on the schedule.

It was a good race. The trucks are not sprinters, but nothing else is like a sprinter than another sprinter.

I think Pierce was the faster truck, but restarts killed him and he was just alittle too impatient and used up his stuff IMO.  That's why they say running somebody down and passing them are to different things.  Like others have said they need to get back to racing quicker. Lastly they need to implement a 3 caution rule or something where if you bring out 3 cautions your done. Seems like the same trucks were bringing out the cautions.
