just looked at the usac western midget schedule , looks like a dog that got hit by a car and now its laying on the roadside dying ! if you are a car owner , driver , crew member or just a fan , what are you going to do about this ? why are so many people that are invested in midgets letting what they love die ? if this was a family member , which i say it is , would you let your family member die without trying to save them ? where has the passion for open wheel dirt racing in so-cal gone ?

Yup,if thats all there is to the 2015 W/S Sched...hopefully its just an early release with lots more dates to be added!

Promoters should pay a stiff sanction fee to get a show relatively few fans want to see because few cars show up? Promoters should =want= to lose money at the back =and= front gates? Please. Sell your midgets to people in Kansas and Oklahoma and use the money to buy and race sprint cars? (Well....?)

Could not agree more. With the exception I believe of the Honda Midgets the car numbers in the other myriad of midget classes usully show up with six to seven cars. Does not make for interesting racing.

We really need to be back at Ventura again if only USAC and the promoter could get along!
We only raced 4 events last year at the end due to running with the CRA for Team JSR. Plans call for running as much as we can with Western States this year.
As an owner based in Socal,its tough as every race is a long tow. Im not sure what we will do in September.
Two day show at Calistoga, Thursday show at Chico, Saturday at Santa Maria and then Saturday at bakersfield.
Thats alot of time off and alot of fuel!
All the teams out here are pretty much family run teams who have to work on Fridays and Mondays!
