Crawford County Speedway will be a great show. It will be the first 410 show since the track was shortened.

None. Over-hyped parades.

It seems the SLS WOO shows are follow the leader. I'll guarantee Rivercities a lot of passing. Action packed

I see that the track in my hometown of Huron, SD, Dakota State Fair Speedway, is on the schedule in '15. Should be a good race. This track has hosted an ASCS national event and a Gumout series show but I believe this will be the first ever WoO event there. It's a wide, mildly banked 3/8ths and they do a good job of prepping the track. Located on the state fairgrounds this facility features a large covered grandstand as well as decent food concession and restroom facilities. There is also a beer garden under the east end of the grandstand. This track was originally a 1/2 mile and hosted its first auto race way back in 1914. I believe it was shortened to 3/8ths in the late 80s or early 90's but not sure, (I haven't lived in Huron since the 70's but get back there for occasional visits). Dakota State Fair Speedway is the home of the Wissota 100, a four-night event that wraps up the season for that sanctioning body.

June 5th at I-80 then to Lakeside on the 6th sounds like a great road trip. Both tracks put on excellent shows!

I suppose it goes without saying but there is ample camping and RV hookups at the state fairgrounds in Huron plus the track is conveniently located less than 3/4 mi. from the downtown business district. Directly adjacent to downtown is a new (2 yrs. old) $12 million water park. It's a beautiful facility that is well worth the modest price of admission.

I wish there were more (or any) races in Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, or Louisiana. There isn't even any in Florida after February. That's a large part of the country missing out on some great racing, and there are a ton of fans down here too. I guess this is just stock car country.
