Anyone know when the last time, if ever, someone has won the Nationals after winning a preliminary night?? I definitely think Brown has a good chance of doing it, but for the last few years, it seems as if it is more of a curse than a blessing.
Thoughts?

With Brown winning last night I'd say there is about a 20% chance that a Qual winner will win Sat night.
If by some chance Shatz wins tonight I'd say there is about a 99.8% chance that a Qual winner will win Sat night.
I wouldn't even know how long its been since it happened, might have been the Dude back 10+ yrs ago.
Starting up front on Sat night used to be important if you wanted a chance at winning.
Any more with a 50 lap race on Sat night Shatz just needs to make the A one way or another and its his to lose.
